There's a lot of really bad weed out there.

It wouldn't be so bad if the fucking clubs would stop buying it. But they won't.

And at $500 or less a pack, who can blame them? They are making a shitload of money selling this crap at street prices.

My advice to anyone that took the time to grow, trim and CURE some quality outdoor: Lie your fucking ass off. Tell them it's indoor. Tell them it's hydro. Tell them anything they want to hear.

It doesn't matter; you're lying to liars. They'll take your shit, package it under three different names, and sell it for three different prices.

Hell yeah. If they can't tell the difference, then what's the difference?

In watermelon sugar the deeds were done and done again as my life is done in watermelon sugar. ;)

I'll tell you about it because I am here and you are distant.

Wherever you are, we must do the best we can. It is so far to travel, and we have nothing here to travel, except watermelon sugar. I hope this works out.

Watermelon sugar aside, the clubs are just as crooked as the people who've been selling us our weed since time out of mind. Which means some are honest and most are not.

A buddy and I straight up caught one of the larger and "classier" clubs here in town selling the same weed on the top shelf under one name (I forget), and on a lower shelf as Headband. Dude got the deer-in-the-headlights look when we pointed out that the two looked and smelled exactly the same. "yeah, wow, they sorta do. that's weird"

there's a lot of crappy indoor also...too many people are moving to the west grow the green gold, and they are flooding the market with shit because they have no idea what they're doing.

It's a free market, don't buy anything thats not worth it. There must be some dispensaries out there that are selling quality product for fair prices. Find them and support them. Don't buy from the shady ones.

It seems that weed quality is becoming similar to the class seperation in this country. There's a very small percentage of true top shelf (less than 5% that I have seen in the clubs), and a whole mess of "the other stuff".

We only grow an OG that took myself and a few more med co ops 1000's of plants to single out. It demands alot of attention, has just ok bag appeal, and is a very low yielder, too boot! BUT, it is very very good. Great weed is expensive to grow and demands real commitment. These yo yo's showing up here to get rich will weed themselves out all on their own. The best thing for top shelf growers is patient education. If they know what they want, and how to spot it, they won't pay these inflated prices for second rate commercial herb. The problem is most patients (and club buyers) only know "bag appeal". I hope Mike is right and patients will stop buying from clubs who aren't pricing correctly. Not to mention, it's totally illegal!!!

To all the real quality growers out there, hang in there and just keep doing what you do best. This thing will work out for us in the end. Quality ALWAYS prevails.

medical is worth it, as far as price, i need my medicin. also dont pay more for something u think isnt worth it, i see it all the time at clubs, they have something that looks hella good for expensive then a week or two later something beter for cheaper or same price. trust me and no u cant smoke in public or anytime u want with a club card...

I have no idea what that means.
(medical is worth it, as far as price, i need my medicin) normally the club prices is nothing in medical marijuana over takin medicine...

absolutely worth club prices in my opinion. the availability, the quality, and the legality make having a club card entirely worth it.

the buds are as crystally as anything I have ever seen. my friend commented that it looks as if it's been dipped in sugar... :D

Fuck yea dude, I suggest getting the great big book of buds or somrthing like it (i have an app on my iphone) and find a top shelf strain that looks similar to yours and call it that if yours is not as popular a strain, for example skunk#1 (which is such an easy strain and yields so nice) looks like the cheese; which one sounds better ah?

Hell yeah i agree. im actually going to be an east coast transplant soon myself but what i feel alot of growers are doing is jumping the gun on the harvest. they are dictating when the plants are finished by flushing too early and not letting the plants mature on their own time which they will if you let them; the grower does'nt have to stop feeding (regardless of hydro or soil-less) to make them finish b/c they will stop feeding naturally. that is how i do it and thats my opinion.

Indeed.

Also the bar for what is considered top shelf keeps getting raised. I no longer factor in yield when considering what strains to do. Now a days, if you're not doing top shelf, you might as well do big bud or crit. Anything but top shelf will just get lumped into the mids category anyways.

The problem is most patients (and club buyers) only know "bag appeal". I hope Mike is right and patients will stop buying from clubs who aren't pricing correctly. Not to mention, it's totally illegal!!!
Buyers know what's up. They just don't particularly care how good a bud is. They only care about how quick it will sell. Bag appeal is king.

Some one will always buy quality herb. As long as you're patient, you'll get your money.

That's the way to do it. Prices are bullshit in clubs. They change all the time and are based on bag appeal and marketing, not quality.

The best stuff in clubs isn't always what's most expensive.

I've got a friend who brings what is considered low mids here to FLA. It's considered top shelf over there and wholesales for over $5k a pack. lol

Not a bag gig at all.
