Not sure if nute burn or to close to light......HELP(first time grow)

Hey everyone, just wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction on what is going on with my plant, it was given to me about 5 days ago, im starting week 3 and im just trying to figure out if its nute burn or heat stress or the lights or i dont even flipping now because im a newbie, temps are at 22c/ 71f to 24c/ 75f humidity is between 67% to 71% and there on a 18on and 6off light schedule temps drope about 4 to 6 degrees at night, i have the light sitting at 26" from the top of plant and i think im using a 70/30 mix and its soiless.... perlite and somthing else im not to sure, but again not my plant just trying to save it and i can keep it, im using ph perfect technology micro grow and bloom dont have a ppm tester yet, any help would be appreciated, much love, thanks everyone.

She looks crispy. Growing in a decent potting soil would help you out a lot. Something like fox farm ocean forest has enough nutrients to get you to flower and you can just add a bit of dry amendment after that.

Right the tips and the middle look like the ash off a joint .... so im guessing best bet would be to re pot and use fox farm?? Im totally new at this, should i keep it in the same 3 gallon pot or should i go smaller?

I seriously doubt it would survive a transplant to dirt. Im just making a recommendation for next time. If your really trying to save it, what is your water ph? How much nutrient have you given it? I dont know much about soiless

Not sure about ph until i get a tester, getting one of Amazon in 5 days maybe sooner and they tell you to use 2 ml per liter for small plants with 3 to 4 sets of leaves but my buddy told me to use half of what they recommend, so it tells me week 3 put 4ml of of micro grow and bloom per liter of water and i have been putting 2ml of each per liter of water.

Not sure why you would be adding bloom nutes to a sprout. I imagine your ph is way the fuck off and she hates it.

So technically iv even watered the nutrients down and the last watering i just did water no nutes and going to do that for 2 weeks and see what happens

Hummmm, really wish there was somthing i could do to save this little bugger and not have to start from scratch, once i get my ph tester i guess i will get a better reading and understanding of whats going on....... hopefully lol.

I mean you basically are starting at scratch....

I don't know much. I'm new too. But I'll say this. All of my seedlings that were given to me in that big of a container looked like that, always sick and never growing. It's too hard for baby roots to develop in that much dirt. What I ended up with was some wet, highly compacted, highly nuted soil, all while the roots were getting nothin'. If I were to go back in time, I'd save those seedlings from their massive containers and shitty dirt, transplant into a seedling pot with good soil, and restart from there. Please, tell me more about how poorly seedlings do in big containers.....

That is true, i guess 3 weeks is nothing invested honestly, and probably not worth the hassle and money, thanks everyone i really appreciate the food for thought, i jave 5 seeds of gorilla glue so that's gonna be a nice new start, sad that i wont be able to save this little guy.

Cool grow bro Didn't mean to imply seedlings always do poorly in big containers. But I stand by what I said about my experience. Personally, every move I made was WAY overkill in a big pot! Not the pot's fault that I overestimated the root system... Starting with a small container taught me how to limit myself, understand the root action, and pay attention to how the plant responds.

Yeah i think you will have much better luck in soil. It takes a lot of the variables out of the equation. This one might be able to be saved but man growing takes a lot of work and knowledge, best to have your ducks in a row before you start.

You can easily save it. You have nutrient toxicity. Seriously go to the store and by la Croix sparkling water any flavor. Mix it 1.1 with purified bottled water. This will get you readings around 65 to 75 ppm of calcium, nitrogen, and phosphorus and a pH of 5.5 with sparkling at 4.5 and purified bottled water at 6.5, a 1:1 should land you at the bottom of your uptake range. Use very little nutes and measure ppm's during eraly veg. M plants looked identical and my ppms were at 1800 and pH of 8.4 after recommend dosing on the bottle and using straight from the tap water. Sparkling water will save your plants life and is backed by a study done by Colorado State University horticulturists program.

I had a cutting from the main stock that I put directly into a can of sparkling water with a few drops of pH up to bring the readings to 75ppm, 6.2 pH, 69f water temp. After 24 hours it had strated a root system! I had two people on here call me out saying im full of shit and lying about when it was started which has to be 7 days at least according to this random hahaha. Like why TF would I lie about this and waste my time? I do this to share what I've learned with a community not people all.sharing the same love and respect for this amazing plant. We are all here for the betterment of bud! Don't come on here if you're not with ignorance and attack an idea you've never heard of. All in all though make sure you grab a cheap tds.and pH meter as these need to be measured daily for hydroponics.

Just because one can do something does not mean one should do something.

What does that even mean In this situation?? Is there ever a time to just let your plant die if it can be saved? I guess we have different views on the horticulturist's purpose. So if I were to answer that directly, yes one should always do something and attempt everything if it means the survival of a plant you have a passion for

So you think he sound try to nurse this one back to life in a medium he does not know how to grow in instead of starting 4 new ones in a medium that requires little more than water? I think his only passion was that the plant was already started, but as stated, only a couple weeks along in its life.
