Whoa what's it smell like?
Great work ! Pumped to see the finish!
Thanks! So am i
Smell is hard to describe. At this point its kind of a sweet skunky floral smell.
Its been getting stronger this week and starting to develop some frost on the leaves. In another week or 2 it should really start to stink and maybe i can give a better description.

Starting to turn into a cluster fuck in here.
Started falling over a few days ago. Buds arent even heavy yet.
No way i can add a trellis, so i resorted to fishing line. It isnt pretty and access sux.

Good news is they are starting to stink and are sticky as hell. Resin everywhere

Midway through week 6.
Had to try to get in there and tie some more up, chopped a few that were mashed up against the sides of the tent. This plant is the most unruly lanky thing i have ever grown
Not much visible change but buds seem to be coming together now.

Not sure why the leaves appear so shiny in the lights out pic. They dont look that way in person

Switched to 12/12 with the solstice
EC at 2, ph swinging a few points in 24hrs, nutrient additions seem to keep it around 6 without ph down.

Hey BG, you are about a month ahead of me, I started flower on 1/20/23 and they have just begun to stretch. I start this grow on 12/9/22. This is also my first grow in Hydro, I am doing a ebb and flow bucket system. (Active Aqua Gro & Flo, 6 - 5 gallon buckets). This is actually not my first attempt, but health issues prevented any success. Lost the first grow to a heart attack in September, but am healthy again after they put a stint in my artery, had 95% blockage in the right side of my heart.
These ladies are drinking like drunk sailor's, 6 gallons in just over 2.5 days, Last added on 1/25 and this morning added another 6 gallon. You can see in the charts below the addition I made to the reservoir. I am also using the Torus Perfect XpH in the reservoir and seeing good results. Love not having to chase pH daily. When I checked the pH this morning prior to adding the 6 gallon of RO to the rez the pH was 6.11, on the 26th it was 6.01. After adding the 6 gallons today it was 6.23 so I adjust it down to 5.83.
January 25 , 2023, 4PM
Reservoir Addition
6 gallons RO
30 ml Micro/Bloom
30 ml Liquid KoolBloom
80 ml Hydroguard
EC 0.9
pH 6.01
January 28 , 2023, 8AM
Reservoir Addition
6 gallons RO
35 ml Micro/40 ml Bloom
20 ml Liquid KoolBloom
100 ml Hydroguard
EC 1.0
pH 5.83
If you get a chance check out my journal.

Hey @gr865 Thanks for dropping in, and its good to hear you're feeling good again!
I've actually been keeping an eye on your journal for a while now. Great looking garden you have there.

This one plant is drinking about a gallon and a half a day at this point. My ec is kind of floating between 2.1 down to 1.8 over the course of the day.
That little 2 gallon res in the single hydrofarm wasnt cutting it, so i plumbed it to a 5 gallon bucket. It really helped make the ec a bit more stable, and im not constantly worried about it running dry.
Ph still drifting up pretty predictably, but in my case the twice daily water and nute topoffs keep it around 6.

I did have one case of water level, ec, and ph drop when i went too long before a res change. Without the added res i was doing them twice weekly, and with the larger res i can go 7 days now.

Should i be adding hydroguard every time i topoff my res? I do give it a small dose midweek but not daily
@gr865 I see you use significantly more per gallon than the 2ml's on the bottle. Is there a reason?

I really dont want to have to deal with root rot at this point.

My hydro guys recommended 3 ml per gallon, extra is not going to hurt anything. And yes don't want to have to mess with root rot.

I am about to start using Southern Ag instead of HydroGuard. Cost is the issue
I won't be adding as much. But I want to use up the HydroGuard.

I didnt know if you read somewhere to use that much. Shit is expensive to be using 16ml per gallon unless the 100ml was a typo

Day 52 or so.

Started to see some burnt tips so i dialed back the ec to 1.5 this week.
Some brown pistils here and there, but that may just be from me climbing in there and wrestling with it.
It is looking like 9 weeks may be a possibility. Going to wait and see i guess

Looking absolutely beautiful! I always wanted to try Leafly looks like it worked out well for you. Those look like they have the sticky resin. Can't wait to hear how it smokes
