Very straightforward, i was inspecting a leaf and really couldnt find much but then i found this guy on the sheet of paper. I dont think its an ant?? It was visible to naked eye, very small i would guess a few mm 2-3mm. Thank u in advance. 20201013_225459.jpg

Tough pic but looks to be a ghost ant (Tapinoma Melanocephalum)
Thank you for taking the time to look for me. I sprayed Spinosad on the plant it came from...im guessing there are some aphids, gnats or mites that its tending. I inspected leaves and thought possibly a few mite eggs, but very hard to say. So i sprayed assuming it likely needed it.

I have a few fungus gnats caught on sticky cards. But that one plant has leaf issues with some white spotting. Thank you for good advice!

Just my Opinion, Looks like a Termite.

Good luck hopefully you get it figured out.
Thanks bear. I thought that at first but couldn't find a matching picture. That one plant got a nice Spinosad bath that night and looks great now. Ill wash it with neem oil spray in the next few days and hopefully that will be the end of this issue. I doubt that bug had anything to do with the spotting.

Wow im impressed! I think it is too. I found it on a sheet of paper I used after shaking a leaf over it for a while. The simplest explanation is the Stonington blend i used for the starter pots must have had a few in a stick or bark.

don’t be it’s a sad life being an armchair entomologist lol.

I’m just fascinated by bugs.

rarely ever get anything myself but use the outside garden plants for bug inspections etc and anything new I find or see on here I begin researching possibilities based on body type, leg count, colouring, markings, winged or not, I just seem to have a knack for bugs lol.
