Only feeding Nutes once and awhile

Hi everyone so I’m just wondering something I got 9 plants in a 5x5 2 1200 Phlizon led in 5 gal fabric pots in soil miracle grow ( don’t say it, I already know).
So started them first week March.
started em off week 4 veg with some Nutes GH flora series. This isn’t my first grow just haven’t used the Nutes a lot. So i started them off using the chart on bottle was ok didn’t feed every water so maybe 1 feed of Nutes a week for a month then the tent seemed really green so I cut the feeding out and just used water flipped the tent to flower still tent seemed very dark green noticed I have nitro tox happening so I just kept giving plain water finally got my ph meter and figured my tap water was around 7.8 so I dropped the ph to 6.4 ish and have been watering with the that ph plain water for 3 weeks and I haven’t it 15mls /gal of the flora bloom mind you that’s a gal split between 3 plants. I’m just wondering if it’s ok to feed once and awhile and then leave it I do t think I’ve got deficiencies but think I still have excess of nitro. And Any help on the use of the Nutes or better way of using ferts Would be much appreciated also I’ve read people say feed at 1/4 strength and work up or use 75 % strength. Feel retarded but I don’t understand that. So clearing that up be awesome as well. Thanks

If it's the common miracle gro potting soil with npk values of 21-7-14 and state 3 month feeding, that's probably your problem. It's still feeding the high level of nitrogen even though your now in bloom.
And your right about the 1/4 feeding it's a good starting point And keep increasing until you notice toxicity then pull it back abit and that's your max sweet spot. You will figure it out from your 1st 2nd and refine it in your 3rd grow using the same medium.
I don't see a point in feeding it once a week, you may aswell feed consistently a tiny bit if you like. Your just flushing out the nutes with the next watering anyway. Cannabis reacts well to consistency.

This is how there looking. I didn’t start them my wife Germanated them li got home and they needed medium right then didn’t wanna loose em had 3 60L bags of miracle grow yellow bag In garage, I tried to get a lot of the nitrogen balls out but obviously there’s a lot. Didn’t even have time to mix perlite or anything in. So again how do u achieve 1/4 strength or any strength just cut it with water ?

this is good for me to see. I’m using bonticare my first grow. Bloomnutes every other day. I’ll cut in half The nutes and do every water thanks for tip on consistency.
