ph down dilution

Hello grows
I bought a ph controller with peristaltic pump (bluelab), that's fine you will tell me BUT, the problem is that the timer only leaves me as a choice:
between 1 to 60 seconds of on for 1 to 60 minutes of off which is too short as a delay, even at the minimum, so namely 1s on 60mn off ...
So I had the idea to lengthen my ph down phosphorus so that the correction is less abrupt, but with what? will it settle? in short I'm lost ..…

I don't understand your question. For starters, this pH controller, it has a sensor and reads the pH correct? Then if needed it adds ph down buffer using the pump running for the set time and waits the delay to see if it requires adjustment again? If thats the case then a 60 minute delay should allow plenty of time for the buffer to mix, if not then you need better circulation. If the 1 second on time is putting in too much buffer then you can dilute the buffer with distilled water.

hi ,i make a fine setting and it's ok set on 5.8 with an alarm at 5.7 (who is stoping the pump) so he lock between 5.7/5.8 thank you for your time ,in the future i will set alarm to 5.6 and ph required 5.9 ???
