Hey guys.. What can i do??
Its my first time growing and im battling to get the PH in the run off up.
Growing 4 different stains and the PH in the run off with all are dropping.
Growing in coco coir with perlite 60/40.
PH is going in 6.5 and coming out 4.9
Started dropping a week ago.. Was putting in 6.0 and came out 5.5, then next feed i went up to 6.2 and came out 5.3, two nights ago it went in 6.5 and came out 5.0. Tonight i put in 6.5 and came out 4.9.. Why is it dropping like that..
Should i flush?? I am 4 weeks into flower!!
Using Flora trio, calmag and RO Water.

Thanks in advance!!

ph dropping= salts accumulations ( or rot but i doubt its the case )

give a big runoff each day to allow the salts of yersteday to be diluted and rinsed

do you water by the top ?

not enough runoff
recirculate your nutes and give 100 % runoff each day
the 20 % runoff figures lead to salt accumulations in most case, only works if you keep the medium always saturated

Sorry for the noob question but what do you mean by recirculate the nutes?? Ill definitely give them more next time!!

reuse the runoff
if you run to waste with big runoff you will waste tons of fertilizer
except if you have a garden to recycle the runoff
if ph of your runoff is more acidic than the feed, that means that the ph inside the coco is even more acidic
ex: feed at 6.0, runoff at 5.3, means you're maybe at 4.8 in the media

nutrients in your hydroponic solutions are contained inside vessels of water, when coo dry out some of these nutrient will dry out and become salts

if you feed with a big runoff each time you will dissolve the salts concentraded in the media. they burn your plant and your plants can't uptake it
be sure that when you feed ph/ec feed=ph/ec feed
