Ph pen went out !!!

So I went to the hydro store to get a replacement but they didn’t have any either, i placed an order on amazon and I hope it’ll get here by Friday. I went to wallyworld and got som ph stips for the fishy’s they only go as low as 6.2 I hope all goes well as I think I mixed up a batch of nutes for my babies but I used a ton of ph up and saw a lot of clouding to register the stops at ph 7 the I added a bunch more to get it back to ph6.2. I’ll be using the solution tomorrow then on Friday skipping a day in between feeds in hempy buckets. I usually feed daily but I think they can manage a day of absence in between. I fed yesterday not today tomorrow I’ll feed them Thursday I’ll skip them again, hopefully Friday I’ll have the pen and feed them as regularly. I hope I don’t fuck shit up

yeah I know, I even checked my local hardware stores along with pool suppliers and pet shops but no one has any ph supplies. I can get the pool supply ones but the color of my nite mix would affect the reading of the color..

Ok I’ll give them a look tomorrow and see if I can get run off from the Rez if so I’ll try and keep them starved before the next fee, hopefully they’ll pickup strong

if your worried that there maybe nute build up , then give them plane water, i would give them the plane water as a precaution anyway, cant hurt them and flushes them at the same time

So I placed an order for 2 more cheap pens and received them but after calibration they are all a little off, well maybe way off of 3 pens ( cheap vivo sun pens, I know I deserve a bashing) I dip one i nute solution and reads 5.8 other 5.9 other 6.0 to 6.1. The one that reads 5.8 is my original vivos un pen that I felt was off calibration but after calibration it’s the only one that reads the calibration soulution acuratlly, the other two new pens calibrate and within an hour are off by .1 to .2, don’t know what this is due to. I know they are cheap pens so for now i figure that the original pen that I recalibrated and keeps an accurate reading of the pen is what I’ll go by for readings, and try and use the others as a rough guide..

How is that blulab soil pen? I’ve been thinking about getting it.

Damn that’s a lot of pens wood, i use verm and perlite not coco, how do you feel about those blue lab pens you got there.. my local hydro guy runs with something like that but when I went to the shop for a new pen since mine was off he brought his out and it turned out both were off a bit. Even though I blame the blue lab solution that we used, maybe the wife left it out in the sun or something..

google 5.5-8 ph paper strips , always a good backup, pretty close to the pens and I use em in hempy just fine
