Anything edible of weed. I will be posting pics here of edibles I am making which will be often. New to this and loving it. What techniques are you using? What weed products and potency? Machines?

Pics of the process of your edible making are welcome. Anything edible. Just creating a thread to unload pics.

Making 22 piece cookie, 3 batches of 14gs in each of them. Lechitin enhanced to help me feel them better and it does work. In the middle of seeing how buzzed I can get from them. Each cookie should be about 100mg. Will have about 60-70 of them. Infused in coco/lechitin.

I went in deep and blew $150Can on a couple of proper gummie molds that each make 192 - 4ml gummies or chocolates. One just has CBD and the other is the Canadian pot leaf symbol used on the legal products sold in stores.

I've only done the chocolate for CBD so far but have all the ingredients like Jello, 3 flavours, to make gummies for the first time.

I'd bought my wife this cookie sheet, rack and silicon mat set for $30 a few years ago mainly because I wanted the silicon mat for my oil projects. :) I had read lots about people doing gummies on larger than a few scales having problems with the mix cooling too fast and getting too gummie too soon and making things tough or impossible to do. I rubbed my few remaining brain cells together and came up with this idea after finding out the gummie molds were a perfect size to sit on that rack.

I got my two-burner hotplate out and made sure it was level then added some water to the cookie sheet as it has nice sides on it. Then played with the dials to get the water around 150F so it can heat up the mold.

Mix up the chocolate on a double boiler using MCT oil to pre-dissolve the pot oil and add a few tsps of liquid sunflower lecithin.

No dickin' around with the fancy silicon squeeze bulb I got and never used to fill all 192 spaces one at a time. I like to work smart, not hard, so let it pour baby! I tried spraying some PAM on the first 3 rows but don't so that. Screws them all up and not needed at all. Bought that icing spreader unit to spread and scrape the top so no blobs anywhere and each piece come out exactly the same. 768ml needed to fill them all tho you could do smaller batches if you want.

Get it all nice and even then unplug the hotplate and let them cool enough to pick up. I put them in the freezer for too long so later they got a white coating on them but that doesn't really hurt anything than cosmetics.

Once cooled I just popped them out on a sheet of parchment paper and it's all ready to eat. As they were hi-CBD I'd eat 4 or so to get a nice mellow buzz but one or two worked great for my joint pain which Is what I made them for.

I'm not even sure if I'll ever use these again. Just dove into a "new thing" without thinking it thru like usual. :) Got 6kg of bulk Jello, a bunch of flavourings etc etc. Might just put it all in the buy and sell section. Need money to get a boat so I can go fishing but getting the bank to throw me some cash for that.

Awesome! That was what I wanted to see haha. Chocolate molds were going to be my next run, I like seeing pics of people using them, makes the edible look more legit. Seems more simple to make too, I am exausted from last night making 60 cookies haha. About to spend all day eating them!

Eat report, it is delicious but hard to stomach more than 5 which is a lot anyway without weed in them haha. They work great, been buzzin for 3 hrs immediately after eating them. I could easily eat one every hour or other hour and feel great all day and enhance smoking. 500mg dose.

I have yet to feel the higher end of the high spectrum at 750mg and more with lechitin enhanced, 500mg lecitin enhanced is the most ever taken so far but I have a small puck of butter that can change that in just a few bites.

Pretty sure this buzz can carry on for another 3-4 hours like it did last time. 3 separate times in a row this seemed to hit the spot for a user that normally feels nothing from non enhanced, most of the time, or it doesn’t linger all day like it should.

Since I mentioned the puck, here it is. I ate it, was immediately stoned and still am an hour later. First time in long time I was able to eat edibles over dabbing all day. 1200mg. Not sure what wax to coco ratios should be but 2gs live resin in 1 tble spoon coco with 1/2 tea spoon lechitin ate strong.

I just ate candy bar with it and tasted great. Not sure how to make a stronger edible than this. Researching on how to make the strongest puck of coco if I did not already.

Yeah, that looks really cool. I love to cook, too, and I can do it sometimes. But I try to cook healthy and wholesome foods more. Because of my problems with being overweight, I am removing it from sugar and replacing it completely with a variety of substitutes. Now I read a lot of different cooking magazines, literature or blogs, such as EatDelights, to understand what ingredients can be combined, or, for example, what ingredients can be substituted. I'm looking for new and interesting recipes that I can try to make at home.
Welcome to RIU! Same here, was thinking of chocolates next time for longer shelf life and less fat. I want to make actual food for higher doses as eating all these was surely not healthy. Half went spoiled and no one wanted any.

These are my first few attempts, never knew home made is better than store bought as normally everything is great quality and expected the same with edibles. I need higher doses though. I already miss the buzz and want to make more! Making more soon!

I will say I had one liver ache through out binging through the cookies which made me understand first pass better and have sense of awareness that this is hard on your liver and to be careful.

I will only do high doses every now and then but all it really took was 1 or 2 cookies 100-200mg to feel it as if my body needed to learn how to use it which can happen with first time smokers or smoking after a long break. Happened to me. Just needed lechitin, higher doses and practice.

Flame in, flame out! Used some of the loudest weed I found in a while (sherb cream pie.) It reaks in a pleasant way, like runts. A lot like runtz. 2g live resin 70%, to make ~1400mg coco puck.

Decarb in oven 240F 40 mins then grinded fine and mixed with coco and lecitin. The weed: 14gs weed, 1/2 cup coco, 1.4 tble spoon lecitin. Wax: 1/4 cup coco, 2 tea spoons lecitin. *correction: the wax puck was supposed to be 1 tbl spoon coco/half tea spoon lecitin. I messed that up but should still work. Just has extra coco/lecitin now.

I loosen the wax and pour the coco into the same hot bowl the wax was in and then stir a little, its takes a minute, very sticky and tricky. Keeping it warm by moving quick is best. I use knifes and rubber badder spatula or what ever its called. For mixing cakes and etc.

Infused for 10 mins 220F and stirred, another 10 mins and done. I stir half way through so it can infuse better for the wax at least since it bundles easily. I would stir weed while at it to stimulate the infusion because it separates/settles if you don’t and it bugs me. After this I stir wax again and chill asap to keep unified.

Machine of choice is a typical oven that I turn up or open to let out heat so the inserted temp gauge reads the target temp as this oven is not accurate so luck is a factor in keeping target temps. Not sure if all ovens are this bad even though it is new but having a machine automate this would be a luxury. I would do it this way to make sure its decarbed right.

Use a medium or bigger sized bag of marshmellows, mini will melt better. Melt the marshmellows on low heat and mix with the coco, it is fustrating but I showed all pics of the stages it goes through before being ready. These steps have to be done quick, I barely had time to snap photos. Mix 8 cups of cereal of choice. Mix it very aggressively and fast.

Put it into a ready pan sprayed with oil, I used a bigger one so it would fit for sure so I don’t realize it don’t last second that it doesn’t. Quickly spread it out, what I forgot to do was oil my hands so I can press down and make a smoother flat top surface and condensed consistancy but it still made it.

Dabs for your coffee anyone? 350mg shots. I waited to post in afternoon to review it. It was nice and a new go-to for my 1000mg+ pucks to eat but ughh the extra coco and lechitin was gross.

it would be a breeze to eat 1/4 a puck of properly made hash butter which is a little over a tablespoon. I would like to do this more often than baked goods, max shelf life and ease of consumption. The least fat possible.

I must say the fruity pebbles was delicious but the coco pebbles ain’t right. Gets me baked like all my edibles I made so far but the taste ain’t there, not sweet enough. The coconut, lecitin and weed flavor/smell stand out too much.

Probably going to throw away half of it or more, the clock is ticking, about a week is what I shelf them for. I just wanted something new but at least it was pretty much free weed so free edibles.

“Wow that smells dank!” Doesn’t want to hand bag back after I said it is going to edibles. “ Why, it is so dank!” I was like, “That’s the point!”

Strain was Blast Chiller, 23%. It indeed smells dank, I knew the grow brand never disappoints and would create some awesome classic pot cookies.

100-120mg pieces, 27 of them. I love how dense the food is compared to brownie or crispy treat. Goes down fast, too fast! Tastes classic with top tier weed oil. The lecithin doesn’t come through.

But wow do I need to use lecithin. I bought many from store with no lecithin and just never had a buzz like this. I feel it right away and lasts better, full spectrum buzz vs nothing at all or next to nothing. it is like extended release and less sudden sober feels. I notably dab less.

I feel like what I make just can’t be beat, hits the spot everytime. I made my best live resin hash butter to date. More dab like high, weed edibles more like weed. Hash butter to be eatin alone or coffee or candy bar. 3,000 mg!

New equipment, old recipie. All free 1/8ths of weed making 14gs for free edibles and first run with lab like equipment. The coffee grinder was amazing and helped make that part a breeze and made it so fine that I think more medicine will be released into the oil.

All weed used was the kind that is like a jack in the box of dank smells. Love using top shelf for edibles, flame in, flame out. Cookies might be all I end up making because how good it goes with the oil.
