Plans foiled...

I was doing some measurements for a second 4x4x8 tent in my basement to house a QB to finish flowering in. Ive currently got one whole room dedicated to vegging plants with two 4x48" t8s (6500k), as well as a 4x4x8 tent with an aircooled 600 watt HPS. I wanted to use the leds to give the plants a more full spectrum, cooler running light to finish with, as well as give myself more space for a pertual grow, but I've come to the realization that another 4x4x8 is just not going to fit in the only available space.
What would you guys recommend as a plan b? either getting a smaller tent, or just replacing the 600 watt HPS with an HLG 550/600v2, etc...
Thanks for letting me pick your guy's brains!

Smaller footprint tents tend to be shorter. The narrower they get the shorter they get. Personally my 80” high tent would be a pain if it was any shorter. Swap lights.

honestly I like the hlgs their worth their price to me atleast because it can easily cover a 4x4 tent
just how much room you going to have for your grow

what are your thoughts on the hlgs? are you replacing them or running them together?
I'm loving my hlg's so far and am planning on just running them alone through flower to test led by itself this time. Next round I plan on turning on my 2 cmh along with a few Rspec's to test led with cmh. I've been really happy with cmh alone though, so this will be interesting.

im doing a hlg 550 v2 and a rspec with a 600watt hps so but you have a nice setup because when I move im prob going to get 3 more 600 watts but that's way down the line

I have 2 hlg 260's in Rspec, a 135 in Rspec, and 2 100's running now in my 3x8 closet. The light is intense but they are adjusting nicely now that I raised em a bit.

thats a lot of leds. Im wondering if the hlg 550v2 would outperform the 600 watt hps. my room temps have been a little on the high side the last few days (80 degrees F). maybe the hlg would also solve that problem.

A HLG 550 v2 replaces a 750 flex HPS easily. And success has been made replacing a 1000w SE hps.
