Hey guys,

I just switched from a 600w MH (veg) to a HLG 550 v2 rspec. First time using such a powerful LED i currently have it hung 30” from plant tops and dimmed to 50% to try and ease them in.

Some backround info:

Medium: pro mix hp
nutes: flora series and floralisous +
light cycle : 18/6
Temp: 22• C
RH: 50%
strains: lemon skunk, Skittlez cake, triple og, northernlights x skunk, Candy Store R1

candy store is the one with the wierd orange markings. Pics are with flash but lights off. Cant seem to get them to bounce back its been 5 days since i switched the light.

your help is very appreciated thank you.

Wait for someone more experienced than me with Cannabis, but I went from outside to under LED and had significant problems like you to start. I was underwatering and it looks like to me that you just like me are in severe need of some Calcium and Magnesium. As I understand it a very common deficiency under LED.

Looks like root issues not lighting issues. Did you recently transplant? Overwatering? 22c is cold why are u running them at 72f?
nope no transplant in the last month or so. Unless they're root bound in the 5gals? This is my First grow from clone and they been veging for about 2 months.
what is the ideal temp to run these at? I plan on making adjustments to the temps

i have attached a picture of their last day under the MH for reference. They look a lot better then but maybe you can see something i dont? Too bad i only have a pic under the mh and not at dark.

ph is 6.2-6.4

also im using 2ml calimagic per gal feed
When running led you want your leaf surface temps at 28-30 Celsius at around 60%rh. Get your temps and humidity up and youll see a change

what was the temp and RH in the room before LED?

look up VPD its possible those girls cant breathe in that room.
the mh ran alot hotter so inwas at 25-27 and closer to 60% rh. I know your right because the plant that took the most damage is Candy Store r1 by ethos and its known for being extremely sensitive to VPD.

i need to play around with the fan settings tonight try to keep more heat/ humidity in the tent .

your plants were wilting too? Im glad its not something more severe tbh im usually pretty good at finding creative ways too raise/lower heat/humidity. I should have known changing the light would require a full environment change.
