I'm growing 2 x Royal Queens Green gelato from seed in biobizz all mix. Using an LED light off of amazon that's hanging 3 foot above. I have a small fan circulating air in the tent and I let air out atleast once a day.

Both girls are around 3 and a half weeks old and I've had problems with one since it was about a week old. I've attached pictures from then and again from now. I added cal mag yesterday because I'm desperately trying to nurse her back to life and I believe it's a cal mag deficiency.

I also started feeding 4 or 5 days ago because I thought it was about time.

Everything I am using is biobizz and I'm trying to grow "organic" but if I have to add anything synthetic obv I will.

I don't understand why only one of the plants is affected and I can't for the life of me work out what is wrong. If anybody could help I would be very grateful

Thanks guys and girls.20210126_171454.jpg20210204_180013.jpg20210205_195457.jpg20210204_180001.jpg20210124_201440.jpg

They don't look too bad. 3 ft is a bit far once you have a few leafs unless you have a heat issue. I've never used that soil, so maybe someone who does will chime in. Could be mag def but like I said I don't know the soil specs. Have you splashed anything on them or are you spraying them and then they are drying under the lights? Only thing else I can suggest at this point is to use a magnifier/loupe and look for any critters. Especially on the undersides of the affected leafs. And check your water ph if you haven't

Hi mate, I lifted the lights slightly because I thought maybe they were too close and that's why I was getting problems. I have misted with an aloe Vera foliar spray but tried to keep them in the dark as much as possible when doing it. Also just did a cal mag foliar spray to try and remedy the problem faster before it took hold any worse than it has. What kind of bugs am I looking for? I could have a good look under the lights.

Thanks for the input, it is greatly appreciated.

How many watts is your LED? There's lots of power to burn young tender seedling leaves in my LEDs even from 2-3 feet above them. It looks like the newer growth is less affected by the burn so the plant is probably hardening off. The smaller one may be a bit more resistant to burning even though it's genetically similar to the other one; grown from seed they're all a bit different.
Me personally I'd back off on the foliar sprays, give them a good flush, you could fert them right after if you like, and see how they do with the lights up where you put them.

Fingers crossed, I'm moving them to bigger pots but I'm just waiting for the girl in question to get better first. How long should I wait do you think?

It's hard to see the pots anymore in the last pic you posted; they're getting big for their pots now. Personally if I have to put fluids on them more than once in two days I transplant them to bigger pots.

One thing I do before I transplant is wash the soil well in the old pot. It's just insurance in case of toxic salts. You'll never get another chance to wash the root ball as well in a bigger pot and it'll take way more fluids in a big pot. You can fert right after; before or after the transplant. Not saying it's gospel; it just makes sense to me.
