Pollen

Always been curious: is pollen … pollen?
Or can you improve it somehow like you can buds?
I’ve got a nice looking male with plenty of flowers that I’m not going to tempt fate with in my grow room.
None of the flowers have opened yet but they’re close.
If I stick the plant upstairs in a window for a few days to keep it separated until the pollen drops, does the quality of the pollen suffer from less direct light and more hours? Do male plants reveg?

Also took a couple branches, cut em, and stuck em in a vase.
The flowers should open, no?
Like lillies or roses do?

Pollen is pollen. Quality of light = Amount of pollen.
The branch in water will drop pollen.
I've never re-vegged a male, but I imagine it would be a bitch. I take a clone before I flower just in case it's a real stud. Happy Chucking!

I've cut the tops off of males and isolated them in a spare room without any light other than what sneaks in through the blinds over a plate to collect the pollen. It's always worked to pollinate females and produced seeds.
