Pollination Question

Probably a stupid question, but:

When you pollinate a female plant, can you just put the pollen on say 2 or 3 bud sites (lol.. I type bud light first) low on the plant (carefully of course) & the seeds would grow only on those sites you pollinated or does it get the whole plant pregnant & seeds start growing everywhere?

yes, if you only want a few seeds, only pollinate a few buds and make sure you somehow mark which buds you impregnated so come harvest you'll remember what is what..

You can pollenate one bud but you would want to mist down the pollen to make it inactive afterwards so it wont spread with the airflow and only those bud sites would grow seeds, Make sure the buds you do it to are buds that get ADEQUATE light. If the bud itself doesnt mature the seed won't either

For every seed, there has to be a pollen grain. If only one grain hits the female, the plant will only produce one seed from that single flower. No other flowers "get pregnant" unless pollen also hits them.

I have covered the impregnated area with polybags clear that newspaper carriers use to place their papers in and throw to their customers.

whut you need to do is remove female to get dusted pollinate yo branch as suggedted i leve i leave out of population for two days
i have heard only takes about couple hours -anyway i return to population in two days mist up dusted plant and population (water = dead pollen )
sum just mist area pollenated but any loos epollen can fall on any unexpectant plant

now just wait 4-6 weeks you got seeds

remember
pistils delicate easy to kill -dont want to knock up you girl then kill her before she delivers
no need to cover nutin an especially wit plastic
when pollenating dont brush it on
a branh labeled can stay connected to plant even after harvest to mature
seeds take about 4 weeks i normally give 6 and i stll get a few green baige small seeds no good

How long would you let the pollen sit on the bud before you spray it with water? I do the single branch deal, but I pull the plant out for about 12 hours and hit it with a soft shot of compressed air before going back in the flower room. Only had a few stray seeds out of several runs. If you sprayed it with water too soon, wouldn't you kill the pollen before it takes?

experiment dont take nobodys word for truth till you try it out its not proven just sumtin you heard

collect data in your travels dont pass it on till it is tested by you or sumone you know

I would do it right away or you might risk ruining your other plants, the reason he is saying put the water there is it will make it less likely to get in the air and spread to other plants, if I was you I wouldn't be risking what your doing, because your asking for problems, If you got other plants in there you might screw them up, pollen can stay around for a long time and is VERY hard to get rid of, so next you grow it still could be in there and turn everything into males every single time you grow. If you want seeds I'd suggest buying em.

i have made seeds many many times dont let anyone scare you because they are scared
ind i have helped many to get over the fear of the unknown
males must be seperated
i collect my balls before the open and drop
let them dry finally in a pill container then sheke through a sifter
ther is many diff ways to collect sum more dngerous then others
i grow in a tent in the basement
an i take male to the second landing bathroom
males need very little i use two y splitters and four cfls
dont even need atimer not producing buds

collect pol the way i described
let dry a couple days pick up a little wit a paint brush
hold over bud tap so pollen fallls down -never paint them on -are very delicate
wait four to six weeks

let dry store them got crosses

dont be scured
