Portable ac units experiences

Hello all!
I am struggling with temps in my 4x4.
I have been thinking about upgrading the exhaust. It draws 400cfm thereabouts.

Its 720 w of led in there.

I am considering getting a portable ac unit instead of upgrading exhaust. I have the impression it will work better.

The plan was to direct temperated air through the intake.

Any tips, experiences or anything you wanna share with me before I go make an expensive mistake will be appreciated

Hey man, if it helps, I am currently waiting for my portable ac unit to arrive to assist with thr drying conditions. My plan is to cool down the room outside the tent in order to use the tent as a drying room. If ya want, ill be running a test when it arrives to see how well the plan works, I'll let ya know!

All I can say is you better have a place to throw the exhaust from the portable. The air coming from the portable will be hotter than the air coming out of your tent and you will need a place to dump that air. Takes 5 minutes for a small room to get hot as hell with a portable unless you dump the air outside.

Good point. Was thinking to dump it out window. I am a bit on the fence if I should upgrade the exhaust. It would surely help..i guess a powerful fan with fan controller are enough in most cases
