Powerhead

Has anyone tried using an aquarium powerhead to push (pump) water from a reservoir through 1/2 x 5/8 pipe and then spray the medium at the base of the plant? I had been using a standard air pump to drip onto a single plant, but with the added pressure of the powerhead I can do at least four at time and use a lot less electricity.

Right now it seems like a winner but I would appreciated the opinions from the sages of the sage.

yea itll work great for you , just make sure it has enough GPH(gallon per hour) for the job
and use that air pump for some more airstone(s)
