Prevent siphoning - pvc pipe setup diagram

Hello everyone, I am just putting together a small automated room. I am worried about siphoning due to the height of the tank. Can almond with experience tell me if this would work. Any input would be appreciated

I’d put a “T” splitter here with a 1 way check valve connected to it. The second the pump shuts off it’ll suck in air and break any syphon that’s there

Ya sorry that drawing wasn’t the clearest
Do you still think I’d need to raise the tee up?
mid rather not if at all possible

i would have to bring pvc feed pipe back down anyway in about 3’ in order to be at the top of buckets

Yes I am pumping from the bottom of the tank
the valve and pipe going to the top of ya k was to hopefully break siphon

What BK said should work but i think the T going to your buckets needs to be higher than the max water level of your rez or the water is going to keep flowing until it is level with the T, just due to gravity. Then I would put a T on one of your 90-degree elbows on the top and put an air bleed valve or one way check valve. Thing with the air bleed valves is they initially spray water out the top until the pressure is there. I know myself I wouldn’t want spraying water all over the top of my reservoir and other shit near it

Thank you to everyone that’s has responded. I had purchased air bleed valves but I don’t want to use them as the tank is not inside the same room, unless I can find ones that you can plumb that water back to tank

I had another idea of adding a 120ac solenoid on the vertical discharge (before the first t)
Does anyone know if it’s possible to hardwire the solenoid into a Leader ecotjet pump so the timer turns them both in at the same time
(I feel this would be safer than having each on separate timer)

I’m going to raise the tee up this weekend and see if that will work.

I have dry fitted a new idea, and I hope this will prevent siphoning (and just work well)
Any feedback would be appreciated

the only concern I have is where it comes into the tent and will be going straight down to the buckets level, then a 90 elbow -into a short piece of pipe -into a tee (not installed yet and will be joining both lengths of pvc to buckets)

just drill a 1/16" hole in the pipe inside the reservoir and above the water line. it wont affect the flow but will prevent siphon

As visa says just poke a hole in your feed pipe just above water level and insert a barb with a small piece of tube on it will be spurting back to your tank during feed and sucking air as soon as feeding stops. As soon as air gets into the system syphoning stops.

Say goodbye to any pressure you had with that hooked into your feed line.

Works great now that I moved the pressure reducer higher, thanks for asking
Last 2 buckets on the way, and seedling are getting bigger
