Problem with gnats

So this would be my first grow and was wondering if it would be ok to spray my plants with fungicide 3 while plants are flowering plants have about a month left to go the gnats are not a huge problem as of right but would like to take care of it before it gets out of hand any information would be greatly appreciated

I use sticky traps, put a soil topping and learned not to water too much. Used to be my problem. A lot of diff ways. I would avoid sprays if in flower. Maybe some neem oil but their are many ways

You need to address the soil. The adults don’t do anything but lay eggs in your soil. The larvae does the damage. The adults are important to control but it will be an unending cycle just spraying plant imo

Water less and elevate your pots if you can. Then lay down a ton of sticky traps to catch the adults. That's really all you need to do.

I ended up using some neem oil but thank you for the information i will definitely keep that in mind for my next grow and thank you again
Neem will not be very effective. Try others advice here as well, I personally like adding a layer of diatomaceous earth mixed with perlite snd coco coir. 5 parts coir, 5 part perlite to 1 part DE. Layer containers 1-2 inches. Try bottom watering. Add BTI as others have mentioned as well. Watering practice is huge too. Also if your in soil a layer of EWC can help with some beneficial predator bugs.
Good luck

Seriously, just water less. You don't need chemicals or a mineral barrier. You can agent orange them if you want, but if you continue to overwater they will be back.

Since no one has mentioned it, you can try predatory nematodes too. I find neem works well, just spraying to the top layer of your soil, you just need to reapply it every day for a week or so.
