Pros and cons of growing in a 10 gal airport ?

So I'm thinking of growing an auto In a 4x4 I'n soil in a 10gal airpot

Firstly is this too large a pot for an auto .... Or should it fill out the roots as long as the conditions are good

What are the pros and cons of this size of pot for growing an auto .

I will probably grow a photo in it on the future

I’m not an auto grower and not much experience. But 15 gal would be way to big I think. I’d use around 3.5-5 gal

Well the nice thing about growing in an airport is that it was made for things that get people high.

The biggest pot I would ever go with for an auto is 7gal otherwise it’s wasted space, the roots won’t fill out the pot. At least that was my buddies experience with growing an auto in a 15gal. You might be able to get away with 10 In an airport because of the way they’re designed

I would do a 2-5 gal airpot if indoors, as height is a concern.

I feel like smaller airpots let my plants mature, but not stretch.

I can't think of any pros. A few cons - cost of additional medium, pain in the butt watering, difficulty doing LST and more breeding/living space for unwanted guests, all for no benefit. After an auto grow, I put two five's together to grow some flowers. Can you imagine how isolated my auto would be in there?
