Barneys Purple Punch freebies…

Second grow so she’s suffered from overwatering, underwatering, and a nute lockout. She’s back in action but not in full health yet unfortunately. She was flushed out 4 days ago and nothing but PH’d water so far Trying to decide what my next step is lol

Looks good! Next step is to feed. What medium/nutes are u using?
What week of flowering :bigjoint:
I think they’re def a bit behind. Maybe a week. From how many times I screwed up haha. But she’s at Day 49 from the surface.

I’m honestly afraid to feed ha. I don’t know how bad the Slight N tox was and the lockout. I flushed them the night before Father’s Day. And they’ve just been getting plain water. I watered them today with a tablespoon of epson salt and great white.

Coco/Peat mix 40/30
EWC and dry amendments from down to earth

was thinking about brewing a light tea with Dr earth bloom and see how it goes but I’m afraid of screwing them up. Being as how I was over feeding the hell out of them:wall:

N is first to be washed out. I’ve never used dry nutrients but I gather they are time released?

Feed when u see lower leaves starting to yellow etc.

Next time go either coco or peat that’ll save a lot of hassle. Give only water and root stimulants etc when starting out unless using coco. If using coco u feed lightly then work your way up

Ok good deal thanks! Now what about how the upper leaves look w the buds. Seems like mag/cal or something. Which is why I tried the epson for the mag. Seemed like a harmless small thing to try out. Would it take a couple doses before I saw improvement in the leaves?

and should I be waiting till yellowing? Won’t they be needing some bloom food later on in flower?

Thats the issue of mixing mediums. They operate at different pHs and have different behavioural traits. You can try adding calmag and hope it works!

damned from the start. Well I thought I could make it work. And it can work I guess since the other 4 are doing fine despite my screw ups but yeah not a good route to take at all. Lesson learned. Going to try dosing them all up on a light bloom oriented tea and see how it goes. You think like 1tbsp per gallon or maybe less?

Growing is just a massive learning curve. Like life. But if you love it you stick at it and learn :)

I’ve never used that before. But for established plants feeding 1/2 strength is a good place to start

Thanks guys. I’m going keep giving the plain water and maybe just some random beneficial microbes and small amounts of molasses until some of these issues start working themselves out. If they get worse you’ll see me in the plant problems area hahah

the medium PH during the flush was pretty dead set at 7.0 from the small amount of dolo lime I added before planting but I got it to move down to 6.5/6.8 depending on plant. I’ve been watering at 6.0 since then

Day 69
Purple Punch
Random Amber’s here and there on the sugars but nothing on the buds, lot of red in the trichome stalks. She smells lovely

Shooting for 10-20% amber I think. Going to let her cruise for a bit…

I grew one last round...if you let it drop to low 70s lights out u should get lots of purpling if wanted
