Question about random outdoor plants

Hello. My friend planted some bag seed outside. He has them in gallon pots and plans to transplant them into his garden today.

His helpful neighbors have been telling him all kinds of ways to tell sex. Like looking at the leaves and all that nonsense...
So he had me look at them today.
Am i crazy or are these things starting to flower already with 15+ hours of outdoor sunlight?

Is it flowering?
Obviously. You should probably learn basic marijuana ant anatomy before trying to figure out sex.. it takes a second on google. Type in "male vs female weed". It is covered in pistils.

It's not rocket science for Christ sake. .if it has pistils it isa female in flower. Why is that so hard for you guys to figure out?

It's strange you guys get into growing or affiliation without knowing a thing about the plant you apparently smoke and grow. It's bizarre.

Diminishing light triggers flowering, not the number of hours. I heard 14.5hrs is the trigger, but I have to verify that. Since the longest day of the year just went by (summer solstice - june 21), and light is only now just starting to decrease, it's a good bet your plant is an Autoflower.

I’m on my second outdoor grow, my plants are 6 weeks old, getting around 16 hours of light but it’s showing some pistils. I guess it just started to flower early this year.

That definitely looks like it's forming bud clusters which means it's flowering, but to be fair just because you see pistils doesn't mean it's flowering.
I usually veg for 4-6 weeks when I'm sexing plants so I get obvious signs of preflowers.
