Question for old timers about trimming

Yes...Pull off only the leaves that yellow up and die; don't touch them if they are healthy and green. Usually the ones that are starved of light under heavy canopy need to go first but wait until they tell you they've had it. Nice canopy btw oughta be a good yield. Good luck and happy growing!!!

I was reading up on pruning, just refreshing my knowledge, and more than once I've read that many seasoned growers don't prune. This is in reference to inside grows.

Is that true?
One time I trimmed my harvested buds just like the 'merican dispensaires? ...lol

shit hit the fan big time

peeps see the trim as a 'freebie'

now its just minimal flip trim and toss

as for preharvest trim and poke?

no never unless dead brown

in time you may learn to use the fading yellowing fan leaves

the plant telling you its news ...lol

like add some more calmag numnuts ...lol

good luck

What does too much CalMag look like?

LMAO!! Can anyone tell me the top speed of a sloth riding a turtle on an overcast day in May?
BTW, if anyone was wondering what the answer to this is, it's 3. Not mph or kph, just 3.

And now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

I prune around the planter so I can water without fighting my way in.

Other than that it is just at my discretion and depends on the type of grow, ie; scrog requires a completely different approach.

I'm not doing a scrog this time, but I'll be putting my net up in a few weeks, to hold up the colas.

I go back and forth, I get bored.
Honestly My best harvest so far was without the scrog but Im still experimenting. This time im expecting a good return.

I'm guessing that the tops hidden under the top fans will break through at some point, right? Got lots of leaves fighting for space.

Ah, au natural, eh :)
I leave every leaf. I train by super cropping not topping or LST. Plant responds faster. Once you lose your fear of crushing stems you can train your plants to do anything you want.

Those fan leaves make the energy the buds need to grow. No way I'm cutting them off.

There are so many ways to grow and so many people having success with different methods.
I do what I do. I follow the PGH method.
