hey subcool...I'm growing your strain Jack the Ripper..awesome strain...my problem is I keep getting banana's...and it's my fault...I've been over feeding 'em...not giving 'em time to grow, trying to force 'em. So I'm wondering, how did you grow 'em? Do you have a video or something? I'm going thru your youtube channel, I'm just wondering if there is one dedicated to this strain...any help that your willing to pass off would be greatly appreciated.

"I keep getting banana's...and it's my fault."
I've been growing for many years, currently i put 4 plants in flower each week....landrace sativas... I think I've only had 2 hermies.....ever
And I stress the shit out of em on purpose to "weed" out (lol puns) the lame plants....when I say stress the shit out of em, I mean overwatering seedlings to the point a few will die, over a 100 degree weather ect for a few weeks as seedlings...the ones that make it, get ran and possibly bred with....there should be nothing you could possibly do to stress a plant enough to hermie it.... if so, get better genetics.....

Not so sure it is your fault. There has been a lot of comments about this problem in Sub strains. Best bet is to try and find a pheno that doesn't hermie and is also up to par on quality. Then start working from clones.

Thank you all for the help..it's greatly appreciated...I've spent hours behind the computer today researching, getting migraines, adding it all up and watching a shat load of youtube...I think the overfeeding and not ph'ing the water probably had a lot to do with it...gonna give it another try...I picked the strain for it's high thc(painkilling ability in bones and joints), any one have another suggestion, or is that a question for a thread?
