Quick question on plant ripeness

Well, I was doing a trich check and found a seed pod, it looked nice and plump, right at the base of a nugg. i picked it and found a nice ripe seed. looks like i could plant it today and it would grow.

Now, my question is, if the seed is ripe, is that any indication as to how done the buds are?

the trichs are 99% cloudy, pretty much right where i want it, as this strain is really couchlock shit anyways. I havent seen any gain in size over the last couple days.
and finding this perfectly formed seed, and knowing its where i want it, I was wondering if there could be a correlation. i dont know if a plant will produce ripe seeds before its ready for harvest is all.

If your lady is producing any seeds, its either went hermie or its been pollenated.

I'd harvest based on the trich's and hair retraction etc. Last thing any of us want is to find a seed in our female smoke, lol

Ya, I understand the causes of the rogue seed, jus didnt know if the plant would have a ripe seed before it was done itself. truthfully, i dont really mind getting a couple of seeds. not that big a deal. and this isnt commercial shit. deff not in it for the money. Im almost non-profit hahaha. I already pulled her out of the flower room, jus given her a day or two of darkness fore i chop.

With the summer heat, I havent really been able to get a cold snap going to help her finish off. So its hard to judge it based on my past grow. hairs an trichs are pretty much right where they need to be.

if i had a decent camera id toss up a pic, but close ups with mine suck ass.

Thanx, that is what i was looking for. I didnt know how long it would take for a seed to mature.

There is no such thing as immaculate conception in growing ganja. You either experienced some hermaphroditism or it got pollinated.

Well, the seed is of little concern to me really. its not going to ruin the harvest. Like I said, Im well aware of the causes. It could be a case of stress induced hermie, or it could have been pollinated by another strain that was very hermie prone, I pulled that a lil while ago.
i only grow for one patient at the moment and they are not gonna bitch if they find a seed. they save em for me if they find them.

My only question was on the correlation between seed ripeness and plant ripeness, which apparently there is none. Thats all good with me.
