You can clone a flowering bud, but it's very time consuming. Each calyx turns into a branch and after a few weeks rooted, she'll throw branching with weird leaves out all over the place. The leaves will eventually turn normal looking.

Ah thanks mate how long does it take roughly to turn back to normal and start vegin ?
4-6 weeks, they will get all crooked but will come back to a degree of normalcy by that time. Please remember that you should leave a minimum of 30% of foliage. A good shot, maybe 1 cup EWC and not much more. Reveging works well when you have a full house of seedlings. Otherwise you'll end up covered in clones, 40% probably males. Good growin'..

If you clone a female it’s a female! No if’s ands or but’s, as for how prone to herming out, I cannot say. But a clone is a exact copy of the mother as far as genetics go.

FWIW I've not found herming to differ from the mothers genetics. This is my favorite way to pheno hunt. Gotta keep numbers inline. Don't you wish you could keep them all? :eyesmoke:. This has been good for "Fathers" as well. Cool...
