Recirculating setup with different pheno's.

I have 4 bruce banner #3 plants vegging in individual dwc buckets. Plan was to move them into a rdwc setup ive been putting together a couple weeks before flower. Pretty much a copy of current culture recirculating setup. These 4 plants are from seed and have a pretty wide variety of pheno's. Different leaf shapes, different sizes, 1 of them wants extra calmag, 2 of them super vigorous and want to be fed heavy. Right now i am feeding for individual needs but its gonna become a hassle to feed individually when they are large. Its a 5x5 room that will be full wall to wall, 3x3 area at entrance for me to stand in and work. The recirc setup will fit this perfect and make things very mamageable, but im wondering if i will be able to keep all plants happy on same nutes. Once they get bigger, i imagine the different levels of feed should even out more, and i could probably go up in calmag for all of them to make the one happy, but i really just dont know. I will be taking cuts from all 4 before flowering and pick one mother after finishing these 4. Next grow will be 4 identical clones, but am i asking for trouble by putting 4 different phenos in a recirc setup? I can keep them in buckets for this first grow but its gonna be a lot more work for sure.

Ok, ill go for it. Worst case if i have too, i can isolate my totes and shut down recirc, feed individual. Hopefully wont need to. I grew for years in individual 5 gal dwc, it was an every day chore to check each bucket for ppm, ph, adjust, top up etc. This recirc setup is gonna be so much easier to manage.

Lots of good info there and needs to be considered in dwc whether circulating or not. Pretty much same scenario in individual dwc buckets. Plants use what they need and create excess/depletion of specific elements unless fed perfectly. I will definitely be leaning towards full change out more often than usual to reset ratios even though ill be going through a lot of nutes. I do have a big vegetable garden outside so i should be able to make use of some of that.

The points made in that article makes me consider that a slight diversity of plants could actually benefit from recirc vs individual buckets. Consider a scenario like mine where 1 or 2 plants want higher than average calcium and 1 or 2 want less than average calcium. If i feed 4 individual buckets with an average amount of calcium, over time some will end up with depleted calcium and some will build up excess. If the 4 buckets are circulating, the heavy calcium users can make up for the light calcium users.

finding strains that are similar helps. like i wouldn't do a 15 wk sativa and a 7 wk indica.
