Red Beard Seeds

I ordered 3 different packs of autos off this company Red Beard, out of 15 seeds 1 of the autos germinated and 1 of the freebies did as well... I first tried 5 with the wet paper towel in a plastic bag on a heat mat that is where one germinated, then 5 seeds I thought well maybe soak them for about 30 hours and drop in soil nothing that way and then I did 5 just soil nothing. Any new ideas out there I never have had a probelem germinating seeds. Although 150.00 is not the end of the world for only two seeds to sprout is kinda of a bummer

I would honesty be pretty pissed with that germination. Did you contact the company?

I did. I had my germination mat on 74 he told me to bump it up to 80. So I did that as well but still nothing. I'm really not happy at all. I have been looking for a another seed company based in the Usa where you can just pay online without using venmo , cash app or anything junk. I'm not sure if there are any. ......It would be different if I never germinated seeds before etc, no expert but I always had seeds to sprout.

North atlantic seed Co used to take credit cards and are super fast shippers. All the fastbuds stuff I got from them sprouted quick.

I've had some crappy seeds from sensible seeds and seed stockers via herbies that were a Bitch to germinate and not impressive plants at all. I Won't ever buy from them again - wasn't worth my time.

Crop kings takes cards and I got my seeds in a week.

Apparently people have had issues with them but I ordered auto cheese cbd and planted two seeds that both broke soil in three days.

Started in a cup and transplanted, 13 days from sprout and they look like decent genetics to me so far.

Please don't bash breeders based on your poor growing experience. Seedstockers have great reliable genetics.

Heat mats aren't required for germination. Just keep them off the floor with proper temperature and RH and plant them in your medium. Keep them moist and they will sprout when ready.

To be clear to you and anyone else, I'm not bashing seed stockers specifically. Those are pretty pants you have. I am glad you had a good experience. I am just sharing my unbiased experience. I purchased their seeds both northern lights and blackberry gum autos. They were shipped from herbies in non original, stealth packaging. So there is another wrinkle, maybe herbies f'd up my order in the repackage. But the seeds themselves 3 of each strain are less than impressive in my eyes. Most were slow to germinate. Here is the blackberry gum auto - I checked the order to verify. It's a pretty plant certainly - but at over 9 weeks old, it's highly doubtful it's an auto.

They may have some good genetics but my own personal experience is all I have to draw on. I'll try to flip it - but unfortunately it was in a tent with an auto so I don't want to change the light schedule for the other plant. So I pulled it outside temporarily while get a 12 hour tent set up.

I certainly appreciate the offer, certainly shows your commitment to the customer as a seed bank. If you have some suggestions on some auto seeds that you personally recommend I would take another shot at it. As a follow up.... While the BB Gum was definitely a photo and the Ghost was garbage.... That Northern Lights ended up being a total knockout, one hit bomb! You want a great nights sleep one toke and all the Christmas lights came alive right before getting the most restful sleep I've ever had.

Seems to be a lot of people claiming they get impossible amounts of seeds not germinating. I have 20 year old seeds that sprout every time. Never had a seed not germinate. I've dropped seeds in cracks of cement and they germinate in full sunlight.

With the amount of seeds not germinating in these posts, it can't be the stocker.

Perhaps just drop a seed In moist medium and wait instead of any fancy techniques. Something definately not right here.
