Root bound?

My seedling popped out of soil on august 23rd in little starter cups with happy frog soil. On September 14 I transplanted into 1 gallon pots with fox farms ocean forest. For the last week they have been looking pretty sad. Today I took them outta the pot to look at the roots. And there are lots of roots everywhere.
Is there too many roots and do I need to transplant? I’m gonna transplant tomorrow and see what happens.
Here’s some pics of the root ball
Tell me what u think
I have only given them a little great white and water.

U should post pics of plant. It might've been light or water stress making it look sad. Its definitely not root bound. I've seen roots wrapped all around the pots. U can give it a bigger home for sure if u want them roots to stretch out. U should look into fabric pots if u dont wanna ever have to worry about roots again. They self prune. I like the 1 and 3 gallons. U can grow full root system for mature plant in a 1 gallon with no issues. But the 3 gallon is less work overall cus of less waterings. U only need bigger pots if u wanna veg longer. U gotta add time to the grow the more u transplant cus u need recovery time.
Looking at your roots u could've left it in that pot but if u vegging longer for bigger plant then transplant away.

I’m trying to clone all those three then grow 9 plants in my 5x5. I was thinking to veg fora about a month and then flower. But I’m new to indoor and need to make sure I can get happy plants in veg before I try to flower anything.

No Need to wait. Grab the clones now from the lil branches on the bottom. U can make 2 or 3 clones from branch. Cut at nodes. They can start making roots while mothers recover.

Could be a few things... but here's a Mulders chart.. it shows how an abundance of one mineral affects anther, and/or blocks the uptake of them. You can see that too much N will block out your K... I have this pinned on my wall.. Which is why I think your abundance of N is blocking your synergism with Mn. Looking at the chart, you can see that Ca is the most antagonistic of all minerals, and vise versa.

Do they look like this all of the time?, or just at the end of the light cycle.
They look like that all the time. Was 48 hours before I watered earlier tonight. And pots were really light. I’m trying to figure out what’s going on.
Two waterings ago I watered with correct PH water and 12 hours later two plants started looking better. But then got all sad again before I watered again.

Yeah thats from overwatering or to much light. If i had to guess my money would go to watering.
That’s what I’m reading every where. Droopy leaves = over watering. Maybe next time I’ll let my leaves wilt from under watering to see if that’s the problem.

My buddy told me not to take clones of unhappy plants.

They are in fox farms ocean forest and i haven’t fed them anything yet except what’s in the soil.
