Runtz try three

I decided to not tempt fate by trasnplanting. The branches are too wobbly and will probably break.

The next go I'll transplant from 3 gal to 5 gal at flip instead of waiting like I did this time.

Week 6 closed yesterday.

I started deploying the net.

Every other watering contains Dr. Earth. Water before last all plants got the Calmag and PK 13/14. Next round I'll give them the two around Week 4.

While the plants haven't improved I think they're dying at a decelerated rate. I'm trying to keep them wetter.

Eight weeks yesterday. Any day now, any day.

They're still living. The two worst looking plants accidentally got a little drier using the new watering technique and they started dying more so I think I've been under watering all along. These findings may help me in the next grow.

10 weeks two days since flip, today. 72 days.

The one plant looks extremely fried. It's fried looking because I was under watering, fixed the under watering then started under watering again. Once plant damage is done....

On a - freshly watered/wet/damp/moist/dry - scale I think the plants need to be kept kinda moist/damp. I've got clones of these that were looking sad but since using the new mosit scale they look to be turning around.

I still Dr. Earth, Flower Girl every other watering.

Dang, some fat buds right there!

"8 or 9 weeks indoor" they said...
Hah, yup! Typical breeders trying to sell more seeds...then when it takes longer for you it's because you didn't get the right phenotype, or your growing conditions weren't just right.

I'd venture to guess that 11-12 weeks is a better estimate for most modern hybrids, maybe a bit less for clones. Even if a plant was harvestable at 8-9 weeks, I bet it would be better smoke if let to go 11 or 12...

This Sat./Sun. marks week 12 from flip.

Yesterday adjusted LUX down. I didn't measure.

Today shortned the 12/12 light cycle to 13.5 night/10.5 day.

really not bad considering the setbacks that prob stunted them throughout their life!
Among other things I was under watering the plants. I've been keeping track of the death on the leaves and since I started watering significantly more, the death has significantly slowed.

I've got clones of these that looked bad but since increasing watering frequency (of the clones too) the new growth is green. I think there is hope for me.

Yep. The fan leaves look like hell.

12 weeks flowering on 7/9.

How much longer and what do you think the yield will be? :)

TIA.

Well done, r max. Third times a charm. I think you’re in the growers choice window for chopping. Some closer shots would help. They look tasty! Great work.

How are you getting the close-up pics? Loupe over the camera lens?

I use a cheap Bluetooth magnifying camera (50x-1000x, amazing little device). I actually make a video and then manually advance the clip to get a good look at a clear image or take a screen shot. With that said, I agree with another poster that you don’t really need the closer look for your girls. It is fun though !

The plants have been needing water about every third day. Today was the first third day the plants were still heavy meaning they stopped drinking - chop-chop.

To chop I just cut at the base and hung upside down. In a couple days I'll pluck all the leaves. There is a very strong skunk smell throughout the house.

The test buds are hard. Even the buds from lower branches.

Kudos to the team!

Seeds galore! Who-Rah. My longstanding record has not been broken.

Generally I think these plants were screwed up by week three in flowering then rescued by week five but as you all know, there is no rescuing only minimizing damage. All the clones have been tossed.
