Its already been discussed quite a lot already, it really depends upon the factors of an individuals setup.

I top/mainline, LST/HST, and SCROG. This run that's going into flower in a couple weeks will be the first to get a spectrum of training techniques. At first, I just used LST/HST, then I just mainlined and SCROG'd, third run, I mostly did LST and a little HST. Whatever you have to do to keep your canopy spread and even, do it.
