Secret 1st Grow!

hey guys, justs letting u guys know that i started my grow on saturday 3/3/07. i have a small grow box for veging hooked up with about 4 fans. one 4 incher for intake, and 2 3 inchers for moving the air around, and one 3 incher for blowing the nasty air out. i have 2 18" fluorescents for veging(one warm one cool).

It BEgins. i saw the very beginings of the taproots on two of my 4 seeds that i am germinating. by the way im growing Early MIsty. got em' from nirvana shop. i live in southern california, and i have the setup in the attic for secrecy purposes.

ill keep u posted and ill be sure to get some pics up as soon as i see some leaves

wow it was hot today, frickin 86 degress F. so i ran the grow box to see if everything was working properly, but it got up to 91 degress, so i repositioned the fans to blow on the lights and it went down to 83. but the humidity was only 26%, got any ideas for the humidity?????

You lucky bastard i live on the east coast and it freezin lol. But its all good my seeds are germinatin in a nice warm drawer

put a cup of water in there preferable in a warm place to raise your humidity...and u should post some pics of the newborns

I agree...put some water in the grow space...perhaps a pan or tray....it should add some humidity. Good luck on your grow.

Well goodluck with the grow and happy growing. Yeah the cup or bowl of water will work if your grow room isn't too big and I don't think your one is so go for it.

ill post some pics as soon as i get some sprouts. but i looked in there at 3 o'clock , and it was about 80 outside, and in my grow box it was 95 F. i think it might be becuase i have a one warm fluorescent in there. i think im gonna change it out so that i have two cool whites instead of one warm and one cool.

put a moist towel on the back of you fan it works better than a cup of water.
