Looks good. Sadly Spiderfarmer has recommended 2 X SF2000 and 1 X SF1000 just to cover my 5X5 tent which I dont think will even physically fit. On top of that the initial cost for so many lights just to cover such a small area is unacceptable. Nice looking plants but unfortunately I feel LED manufacturers are pricing themselves out of the market for many. Here's hoping that changes down the road as for now they want way to much to justify purchasing for me at least.

Get you a hlg 650 r. Little pricey but well worth it. And it covers your 5x5. I use 2 in a 5x10

Thanks, yeah HLG is pretty proud of their stuff which shows in their prices. I know many love them but to me only being able to grow 4 plants at a time and using it for personal it is just way too much to justify. They are asking $1,560.00 CAD for that light plus tax and shipping. To top it off the light is out of stock. I cannot argue about the light itself, they are apparently very nice lights, but just out of my price range for simple personal use. I will keep watching these manufacturers and hope to see them reduce these ridiculous price tags in time. I really appreciate the suggestion though.

Wow what a mark up. I think i paid like 1700 for 2 of them shipped
Yeah, right now that is the CAD price. The price on USA site in US currency is currently $1,099.00 plus tax and shipping for each light. I believe all these manufacturers drove their prices up recently and in my opinion are way to proud of their led/electronics and to me they feel like a ripp off. Especially when I can buy a good MH/HPS dimmable system with air cooled hood for around $300. Sure you save on electricity but the time to make up the price difference on that savings has become silly. Not sure why they all drove their prices so far up but in my opinion they are all pricing themselves out of the market for many customers like myself. I don't mind paying decent money for a good reason but this huge recent increase is not justifiable for me. I am thinking they are taking advantage of all the new growers that popped up with the covid lock down. That is just one guess.

I think its because the Samsung diodes are in short supply. Top bin stuff will be pricey till China gets back to makin them.

That is awesome, see now I would have paid that. I won't pay a $400 increase. To each their own but for me it feels more like someone trying to mug me.
There are a couple places on ebay that has some clones that are real good. I know a guy that bought one about a year ago and its as good as mine.

I'm a PU MMJ grower on a very limited budget. I grow in a 2ft by 4ft tent using an inexpensive 6 bulb T5 fixture because it's what I can afford and it works well for me. I've seen some nice grows with CFLs. I don't think spending thousands of dollars on lights is going to make you a better grower

Thanks, I will check them out. I currently run a 1000 watt MH/HPS light so not in a rush, just finding they have made the jump to LED's very difficult for some. The recent large price increases are supposedly a supply and demand thing but I for one feel they are just taking advantage of the Covid mess with such a huge increase. While they have increased their profit margins a great deal they have also lost a ton of business from folks like myself who don't mind paying resonable prices for things but refuse to just throw money at them. What they have is just not worth it at present to me. That said, opinions vary and everyone is entitled to their own. Thanks for the link, much appreciated.

I agree, some of the prices just don't seem worth it to me either.

That seller is very responsive to questions and shipped within 3 days of ordering so good service so far.

Hi friend, according to the feedback from the cusotmer, 2xSF 2000 and 1x SF 4000 is enough for a 5x5 grow tent.
You can adjust the lightness and height of the light to suit different growth stage.
Thanks
