Durban Poison; Fem, Dutch Passion->Seedsman, 5/5 Germinated!

S.African Kwazulu; Reg, World of Seeds->Seedsman, 2/5 Germed

White Widow; Fem, Freebie thru Seedsman,
3/3 Germed; one grew twisty and died.

Blue Berry OG; “Fem”-turned male, Freebie thru Seedsman,
3/3 Germed; one grew stunted-twisty- died. Another stopped growth and withered (died) after bad transplant to soil.

Freakshow; Reg, Humboldt Seeds, 4/5 Germed!

1 Month in. Blueberry(BB) male still around, covered in immature sacs(!) haven’t set up a good away spot yet.
2 Banana Kush Auto(BK) in 5 gallon (though they look like 3!) fabric pots. More on these next reply.
2 White Widow(WW)and 4 Freakshow(FS) in gallon plastic pots. Doing well a day after transplant in amended soil mix.
2 Kwazulu(KZ) still in gallon pots from week 3 transplant- growing tall- trained one bent over to be a crawler, leaving other au-naturale for now- no topping or fimming.
Topped 3 Durban Poison (DP), Fimmed 1, and left the shortest to be the tall one eventually.

2/2 BK Auto now permanently in greenhouse on a timer coordinated with daylight-hours to give a minimum of 18hours. using one red “bloom” light, and one “veg” light from Feit(?) brand, that are alternated over each plant every night (or cloudy day) when “hood” goes over.
Setup on top of large heat mat on top of thick hard foam insulation (also on two sides), within a 40gal fabric grow-bag, over which another 40gal. grow-bag containing the two lights hangs and overlaps the edges. Also contains a closet “damper”(heat) bar for added warmth at night/cold days.
4 weeks old, in 50/50 mix of FFOF and soil from last year’s crops mixed and “cooked” under a tarp in sun, then mixed with extra Mykos (liberally) and Azos (light dusting). A couple Tblsp. diatomaceous earth added to “10-gal” worth of soil.

As noted previously I topped 3 of 5 of the DP (and fimmed one, and left one alone).
Cut clean at base of 5th node w/6th starting, careful to leave node-leaves. On one, I first cut off the 6th-start, before the 5th...
Just for a fun experiment I had prepped some warm water (well-sourced then filtered through Brita, then boiled; pH ~5.5 - 6), and some sanitized items for cloning...
Here you’ll see I quickly dropped my cut tops into the warm water and let them sit for about 10 minutes before transferring to rapid rooter pellets I had lightly boiled and cooled. I had tore about half an inch off the top of each rooter to decrease the depth of center hole, and placed those pieces on the bottom of a shallow wide mouth jar, and the adjusted pieces on top. Then I poured warm water in up to the top of the bottom sponges, let it absorb up some, then filled up to that level again.
The cuttings went in after, then I remembered to put a (alcohol sanitized) coozy around the jar to insulate and keep hopeful-root-area darkened.
Then put into sanitized (washed, alcohol, then distilled vinegar) wide-mouth plastic jar lid and screwed the sanitized jar on upside-down over the top. Placed this snug in with the vegging starts near heat rod, and about 10 inches, from leaf-to-light under 2 “Sun Blaze” 54watt T5 lamps strung together.
Decided to put a folded paper towel I had handy (used for alcohol sani; evaporated) over the jar so as not to stress the “plants” inside with too much light.
The rest of the crew gets to enjoy a [edited:] 42-hour light cycle with the cuttings now, unless I read it is severely detrimental and/or utterly pointless (I have until midnight to research).

My bad- will actually be 42 hr!
Have them inside house currently to enjoy central heat- their light came on at 6 today, near sunrise, and they would normally go out in the greenhouse to enjoy sun, then back in at dusk to enjoy more T5 until midnight (rainy/dark today so just kept them in with lights on).
I planned on skipping lights out tonight as I think I read to keep fresh cuttings under a prolonged light period? Would have next dark period tomorrow at midnight. Any thoughts, evidence or anecdotes?

There are only 24 hrs in a day. Light cycle at most can be 24/0, think that's what confused the other guy too.

When I say “light-cycle” I mean the period of time the light is ON so I should probably say light-period instead to be more clear.
Though, to be fair I think most would understand I’m not talking about earth-rotation-dependent “days”.
