MARS-HYDRO sp3000 if I had it to do over again I would of ordered the complete kit as it includes a fan , carbon filter & timer also grow bags I already have timer & exhaust but if I was just starting out that's all stuff I would have to get I've put 6 more seeds in to soak these are feminized offerings from esosseeds.com I put in 3 twinkle tarts & 3 superlemon crush I need at least 2 female plants to make this happen 20211004_190939.jpg

Couple Suggestions as I started out last fall, and made mistake of buying shitty stuff.

- For a good inline fan, look at AC Infinity T4 or T6. Unless your strain is skunk, or growing in bedroom, for 2 plants I didn't need a carbon filter, the smell was minimal and the filter made little difference. I did 2 runs in a 3x3, was surprised they smelled more in veg than in flower.

- ducting, make sure it's coated, otherwise light leaks and reflects in it.

- For small 8" clip on fans, I got a bunch at Walmart for $11 each

- 20" oscillating stand fans for $22 each.

- recommend smart plugs with power monitoring for timer over mechanical. You can program them and monitor from your phone, check power draw, etc.

Good luck and enjoy that light!

I have no need for a carbon filter either its 100% legal here & I've been running two 3x3 and a 4x4 tent here for 5 years without a carbon filter You're right about the quality of the AC infinity my growmie runs his setup right in town & even in mid flower you cant smell anything I'm shutting down one of my 3x3 tents to make room for this the fans , heater & timer are going in this tent for now

Lol pun intended.Congrats on the new leg,Wish ya luck man.I got the same package.Just using the light right now.
Thanks for the kind words my plan is to get the tent up & get my seedlings inside & turn the light down to 25 % instead of using the t-5 I've done the math@37,4 watts per sq,ft, I'm in the sweet zone you tube has videos on the par values that looks good I think this light & a 4x2 is a good match

Mars-hydro sp 3000 this seems to be a well engineered light that I believe can do it all with the dimmer & blue osram diodes I'm doing fragile seedlings something usually reserved for t-5 s I'm wanting to use this light to it's full capacity mars-hydro has really stepped up their game with the components that make up this light the tent proved easy to assemble , has nice zippers & not a light leak anywhere were gonna have a nice grow I gave the seedlings their first feeding today some bud porn from my other tent to hold us over until this gets up to speed these buds were made with a homemade cob light I'm looking to generate larger & more buds with the sp300020211014_104317.jpg20211014_104308.jpg20211014_104155.jpg20211014_104120.jpg20211014_104252.jpg
