seedling no true leaves

Hello,
I don't really need to save this seedling, I'm just curious about what could be going wrong with it.
(my conditions are fine)

It's been above ground for about 10 days now without growing any true leaves after the cotyledons.

It's got little white fingers where the new leaves should be, is this some kind of fungal attack?

Well spliffendz was a great help for ya . Some ppl are so ignorant .
Just give it abit of time . That tap root has to hit the bottom first then that sends out more roots then ya plant will take off and be fine

If your seed is a auto flower that would be another clue.
there a rowdy bunch no taming them do what they want when they want. plant up a dozen or so an its a riot flowering finishing times all over the place some will sit there in veg Jus looking good, then they will come back at yah in flower and could end up the largest
Strange LOL

You might only get a pair of cotyledons it's not unheard of, I had a pair for 6/7 weeks before dumping it, it never did grow any leafs?

Every plant is a little different so it may just be programmed differently and this is what its doing. Keep an eye on it and if it doesnt grow at all over another week, it may be worth it to toss it (cant believe im saying this) out and move on with another seed/clone. Remember, just like us every plant and seed is a little different from the one before.
