Should I buy a vaporizer?

I switched to vaping years ago. It was a change at first, but it's my favorite way to smoke now. Lungs feel better too. I actually just leave mine running 24/7. It hasn't been shut off in years, except when the power has gone out. I don't use the hose though. I use the SSV kinda like a lighter and just hold the wand to it. I get monster rips, and it actually takes less weed. You can find used ones on EBay for pretty cheap.

I'm looking for heavy vapor, I smoke a lot, like several fat joints a day.
Is the Storz n Bickel Plenty going to satisfy me?
:weed:
'You should' quit smoking completely, as smoke is smoke is smoke, and 'you should' make the transition to only consuming cannabis through edibles.

Yes get a vaporizer. So much better for your respiratory system than combustion. I have a pax 1st edition and a Da Buddha desktop. You'll immediately recognize how much 'cleaner' it is.
Wish I could afford that German engineering.

Vaporizer or not cannbis smoke isnt actually that harmful to your lungs as the cannabinoids in cannabis actively negate most of the bad side effects from smoking it... cannabinoids respond and only fire in our enocannabinoid system located throughout our entire body and all of our organs and their sole job is to return your body to homiostasis (and thats the feel good not the high im referring to)... there has been plenty of research to prove this and too many tests to refference any one but you can find this information readily available with a little bit of initiative and research... out of non smokers, tobacco smokers, and heavy cannabis smokers the least likely to contract lung caner is heavy cannabis smokers followed by non smokers (of anything), and most likely to contract lung cancer being tobacco smokers... put that in your pipe, roll it in your joint, or atomize that in your vaporizer and smoke it ;)

Are you trying to convince yourself?
No one will convince me that putting any smoke, no matter what type, in your body, is unharmful.

This is scientifically inaccurate at best.
The plenty is good but eats weed like crazy.
The Epicvape e-nano,classic volcano, silver surfer, dabuddha, woodscents,Arizer solo, mighty, dynavap all are excellent vaporizers.

Thanks for the replies. :bigjoint:

I quit cigarettes about 6 years ago, but lately I've been smoking enough cannabis that I've been coughing up tar. Also I'm sure this Backwoods kick I'm on isn't helping.

I've been considering a vape for years but I'm afraid I won't like it or it will be too weak. I don't know anyone with a vape, I've never tried it.

I would love to do just vaping and edibles.
I got sick a couple weeks ago and couldn't smoke and now I'm set on a vape.

Unfortunately, with the shutdown, it is on hold. :peace:

I quit combustion years ago and don't miss it a bit.
Much stronger effects and way better flavors with a third the product if you get a quality vaporizer.
I cannot stand to be around smoking anymore........shit stanks.

My wife and I have 3 vaporizers and like them. An AirVape X (decent), an AirVape Go (meh) and a Pax 3 (the best of the ones we have.) We also have a glass spoon pipe, a 510 battery for cartridges and a concentrate pen. We pretty much just use the vaporizers.

A vaporizer doesn't burn the flower. It heats it and the terpenes turn into a vapor. THC, CBD (and other cannabinoids) and terpenes all vaporize at different temperatures. This allows you to control which cannabinoids you are inhaling. A low temp like 315 F has just a couple terpenes. As you go to higher temps more terpenes are vaporized along with THC, CBD and other cannabinoids. A temp over 400 F will vaporize just about everything and have the hardest hit but also has a bit of a burnt taste. I like a temp around 380 F which is a good balance of taste and effect.

Because a vaporizer doesn't burn the flower, you aren't getting the smoke that will irritate your lungs. The downside is you don't get big clouds of smoke on exhale.

try some different vapes the ones you mention are all low tier units.
The pax has a good reputation but still is only ok ime.

I switched to the pax 3 recently. I really dig it. You can vape flower or wax, although I haven't even tried the wax insert yet. It suits my needs perfectly, and tastes great. It does need regular cleaning though, or else it kind of starts to taste bad. I like the sleek design, and the charge lasts for quite a while. Just my experience, I'm sure there's better ones out there

Any suggestions?

The reason for choosing the AirVapes was they were priced reasonably. The Pax was a Christmas gift from my daughter. Yes, she is awesome.
I have the mighty. A lot of people might not like the price but the battery lasts all day and it’s just fucking awesome. This shit is going into my lungs and I’m going to use it 6-8 sessions a day. They’re also have the crafty which is a little smaller and a little cheaper.

Yeah, the Mighty looks nice but is too pricey for me. Especially my use case.

I didn't mention it, but I don't use a lot. Maybe once or twice (occasionally) a day and just 3 or 4 hits. Usually before bed. Cannabis is for managing anxiety and to sleep better. The other effect is that I have no interest in drinking alcohol ever again.

I've been considering the Dynavap since it looks like you can use just a small amount and no battery. :D
