okay so this is auto blackberry kush one of the two i have growing. this one in particular the buds have looked done TO ME for about a week and a half to two weeks (i am no expert) but just this week the trichomes are starting to look on point to me.
i see everyone saying wait for this or that amount of amber but wouldn't mostly milky and just a few spots amber be okay? one thing thats bothering me is for the past week or so she is growing foxtails and new white hairs.
Should i chop her down?????

Still alot of clear ones too...You may be getting a milky look because of the light reflecting through the trichome head...
so i dimmed down my light and you're right it was making them look alot more milky then they are. i thank im close though! ima give it another week maybe 2 what do you thank????

Are you flushing?
i did flush the medium out because i was seeing deficiencies and i believe in doing so caused a lack of phosphorus. im not 100 percent sure but thats what im guessing caused what you are seeing.. but im still planning on waiting the 2 weeks like we talked about before i decide i need to flush or not. well one more week now.
Im still having a hard time checking the trichomes to be honest with you. what do you thank????

okay guys plant and trichomes picture update.. so no more white hairs left finally but still cant tell wth these trichomes are doing..
You had a Ca deficiency and you're foxtailing now. I can't tell what exactly your trichomes look like because you need more magnification. I'd suggest a Carson handheld microscope because your loupes aren't enough to really see the trichomes.

yes i know. i have a Carson handheld microscope but didnt want to have to take bud off the plant cause its hard to view trichs with it otherwise. i guess it doesnt matter now. ive been smelling a mildew smell every time i walk into the grow room for the last few weeks now. about 20 min ago while checking the buds i noticed these grey spots on some of my buds.. fucking bud rot... so im taking her down

So your right at the beginning of the window imo. I see alot of half cloudy half clear going on with barley any ambering on the buds. I'd suggest letting go a bit longer but keep checking until you see a bit of amber.

My general rule is I won't get to mostly cloudy which is top potency without some ambering of trichomes on the buds.
