Second batch of oil and i forgot to decarb before putting in oil . So i drained it, patted dry, and decarbed then infused....will this hurt potency?

I put 20g trim, 10g flower
1cup oil
1/2cup water

last batch looks much different. Why did they separate opposite of one another? Looks like plant matter went to the top in one and to the bottom in the other. Should i try to remove the green part?

I would put my infused extract through a coffee filter. The stuff at the bottom I tend to not use. My preference is to decarb cured bud during infusion. It gets more of the good stuff this way.

Ok, so i can pull off the clearer oil and thrownaway the darker stuff?

I am thinking about buying an ardent flex. Any experience with those?

Yes. The filter should have removed much of the unwanted plant matter. My friend like the magic butter machine.

It shouldn't make a difference, and you can also decarb after mixing the oil and concentrate, if you heat it to 250F while regularly stirring until the fizzy bubbles stop.

Why are you adding water?
