I’m currently drawing up a micro grow. Going to make an mdf box and make a grow similar to the pc grows. If anyone has made there own micro grow can you show me for inspiration
I suggest you check out VaderVision channel on YouTube he does a very in depth micro grow.

Due to my personal experiences, i cant hold my tongue on this. MDF will be a bad choice. MDF absolutely hates moisture and Its about $23 more per sheet than some cheap OSB. Wood is wood, MDF may look a lil nicer but its heavy and will mold/deteriorate quicker than OSB.

wouldnt sealing it with a water base sealer be a good choice for the mdf?

I've had an aquaponics (and now hydroponic) set up in the same MDF cabinet for the past six years without any issues to the MDF from moisture. Nothing but flat white latex paint was used on the walls.

This is my first "real grow with a good light" but I made a little grow box with one of those metal garage racks you can buy at lowes or any store like that. And put the mylar bubble wrap stuff onto cardboard to make the walls with. Also cut a hole in the bottom and out in small fan in the side up high I'm a noob for sure but my plants seem to be doing ok. I'm not sure of they are as big as they should be on day 7 though. Any input from experienced growers ?IMG_20200413_200720920_HDR.jpgIMG_20200413_200700787_HDR.jpgIMG_20200416_151029770_HDR.jpgIMG_20200416_151023745_HDR.jpgIMG_20200416_151015201_HDR.jpg

Goodwill find $10 jackpot Already wire light sockets already in the box when I bought it had to do a few mods For air circulation so far pretty happy it was supposed to be my veg box But is the gift that keeps on giving The bottom of the box is 28 inches tall so I put it to use and I’m flowering on the top
