Hey, do you have a stud male? Breed cannabis or just chuck a little pollen for fun? I shure would like to see your keeper male plants! It is something not often seen, and could be a good resource to the community. Thanks!

Edit: ok, I’ll go first. I do not believe this to be a “keeper stud”, but it is my selection out of 7 males chosen to pollinate his siblings.A43C6EED-ED4F-474C-96B4-7F7C653B011E.jpeg

The top one is a cross I made of Durban and Pakistani Chitral Kush.

Here's some F6 males I have growing right now. I'll use one to pollinate an F6 Female and finish this 3 year long project and have my own IBL.

Was the desired trait you were selecting for a non branching single cola male?
Looks awesome ! Great choice for a 50/50 hybrid that should have that vigor, and good on you for working older genetics that aren’t all cookied out :)

That's not really a trait just the way I grew them. I kept them really short with tight node spacing under T5's before I flowered them under a 600 watt HPS. Those are 18 days since switching to 12/12. They can be trained like other plants for more tops. I just grow this way when doing seed runs because I like smaller plants that are easier to move around and isolate when I working with them.

If left untrained the plants do grow into a tight christmas tree shape with one big top cola but with some topping and training you can get multiple tops like with other plants. It's definitely a good SOG strain though as it will grow one big cola.

im sure you only improved with each filial generation, but what were your goals besides creating an ibl?
Also, did you find each generation has been becoming more homogeneous?
Thanks I’m just wondering because I started playing with male plants.

I mean of course anyone would just keep the best out of each run, but I’m wondering if there is a certain feature or aroma you are looking to dial in:peace: @xtsho

My main goal was to create my own IBL. I also wanted to breed out the purple of the PCK. If you've ever grown it and came across the green pheno you're in for a treat. Most use it for the purple but I wanted it for the green pheno whis is not nearly as common as the purple and better in every aspect.

I accomplished both of those goals.

Once I see nuts forming well, I pull it out. Made the mistake once of thinking I'd catch the nanners in time, because my previous experience being only making fems which doesn't produce a lot of viable per sac and holy fuckin shit was everything seeded so bad it was a chore trying to get enough husk to smoke
