To start, this journal/diary is a hybrid...a fine mixture of both (indoor and outdoor) guerilla gardening.

2020 has brought lots of new and big things into my life, including some awesome opportunities that I will eventually get around to explaining. It's going to be one hell of a busy and exciting year!

For now, I am vegging my indoor crop which will have a couple weeks of veg left before the flip. I will try and get pics up soon. This is the first time in 18 years I have not used promix, berger, or other types of peat based mixes. I finally bit the bullet and switched to coco (no perlite), just straight coco. I'm a little nervous about it, but I know that I can handle it. It's just after growing in one specific medium for all those years, and switching over all of a sudden feels strange/odd lol. I went with canna coco bricks, didn't rinse them, just pre charged it with nutes and transplanted from nursery trays into straight coco. Within 48 hours I was already seeing awesome new growth! Which rarely ever happened with peat based mediums. I love the texture of coco and I can already tell coco is the new way for me to go, I can just feel it, ya know?

At the same time, I am busting my ass outside and digging anywhere from 2 to 8 holes per day (depending on the weather and how busy life is going at the time). I have a few more plots to dig and prep, then I'll be ready to start transplanting to the outdoors. I'm doing pretty large holes this year, around 4ft wide (both ways) and a couple of feet deep. Hoping to get all my digging done before the end of the first week of may.

I'm going to discuss a few of the strains I am running this year, this is several but most definitely not all.. There will be some breeding going on as well and quiet possibly one of the biggest and best things that's ever happened to me regarding cannabis... A collaboration with a fucking legendary breeder! I don't want to spill the beans just yet, so won't get into detail. But I have obtained some extremely rare genetics and in the process of working through some others also. I will say that the majority of what I am speaking of hails from the good ole SSSC... Neville.. and others... yup, the originals! Straight from the deep freeze with excellent germination rates! These will not really be discussed until the time is right, just know that there will eventually be some genetics resurrected that most folks (including myself) literally thought were completely nonexistent and lost, forever.

So let's get down to what I have going right now, at the moment.

Nice lineup.
Thanks brother!

Sounds like a lot of work ahead of you! Excited to see how it all works out for you!
Yes most definitely overwhelming, which is kinda not how I wanted it to be. I feel it will all equalize and balance out soon... just getting everything in order and getting the hardest labor out the way first and I should feel better about it. Thanks for stopping by!

Hopefully it turns out well in the end! I feel like it's going to be a good year!

Hot damn, I'm subbed for this one. As the others said, that's a hell of a line up. I've got a few of those AKBB strains coming up in my rotation as well.
Thanks for stopping by! Updates will be slow but I'm gonna do my best. I have more going on than I can hardly handle, this is all a one man plan too. I work alone. What all are you growing out by AKBB? Love his stuff and it just keeps getting better!

Working on the flower room tonight, I'll try and get some pics up soon and show the transplants. I will say for my first time using coco I am loving it so far! Everything has took very fast and already exploding in growth. These were small seedlings just a few days ago and now they're already a foot tall and getting bushy! I need to put more light on them. Vegging currently with a 315cmh and a 1000 watt HPS dialed down to 50%... May order a metal halide and throw on them.

Not sure I'll ever go back to promix or other peat based mixes (indoors) after experiencing the growth with coco. I'm loving it! Using Advanced Nutrients Sensi grow coco a&b. Trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Great news! I am talking with AKBB right now about a collaboration on Beatrix Choice and quiet possibly a few more in the future. The beatrix will be the first collab and I hope it all works out... This is the biggest thing I have ever had going for me regarding cannabis and it's such a pleasure to work with such an amazing friend/breeder!

I'm completely new to his stuff but I've got the Dope Beard Durban and Romulan BX4 on deck plus my freebies, Qrazy Train x TKNL5 and ISS/NL1 x MTF. I'm just waiting for some space in the tents to drop some stuff.

You've got quite the operation going non for a solo act man! Sounds like a lot of work but I'm still a little envious. It will take me the next two years to grow out that many strains!

I don't have experience with pure Romulan, but I've had a cross of Chemdog D x Romulan from Pisces Genetics, that I've been growing for about a year now.
Not sure if Pisces Genetics used the same Romulan cut I hear there is more than one, but I'm sure it was good, cause Jimmy Nitz had quite the reputation for breeding fire.
It has zero chem funk on her and a sweet almost grapefruit smell to her, with super gummy resin.
The high is slightly heavy and strong.
Problem is she won't hesitate to throw nanners if even slightly unhappy, like picking her up and moving her to a different spot of the garden.
Could be because Jimmy Nitz forced the Romulan to herm to pollinate the ChemD?

Ended up getting a little treasure yesterday... literally! These first 2 are super rare from SSSC, the beatrix is supposed to be fire! I'm sure they all are... Will be doing an open pollination on these to preserve the genetics and to hunt a wider variation of phenotypes. Also will be doing a collaboration with AKBB "Dankortowne" with the beatrix and possibly a few more, were gonn work them on both ends. Working with AKBB is a dream, hes 100% legit and has done a whole lot for the cannabis scene.

The last is Johaar which is an authentic landrace from Northern Pakistan/ Tibet area. A rare hash making local and ancient line. Supposed to be an excellent outdoor strain.

Oh man, you are holding gold, no, platinum in your hands there! I was just thinking about Beatrix Choice the other day. I'm blown away looking at those seeds. Right on to whomever kept those safe.

An open pollination is such a good idea, let's preserve those genetics! I'll for sure be watching this one. Looking forward to seeing what you and AK come up with.
