South African Legalization of Cannabis

I understand that there are other posts focusing on this topic.The news is not what I would call recent by any means, however I think it would be interesting to have a discussion on whether it is ethical for police to still be able to raid individuals houses after the ruling for cannabis to be used in the privacy of ones home and the production of it within the perimeters of personal usage.Although it has not been implemented completely, I think it should be seen on the pretext that the pro-cannabis community would, evidently see this as the green light.As an ethical approach goes I don't see why arrests should be carried out as it is a gross denouncement of human rights that relate to privacy and dignity (The ability to choose as well as the right to be able to determine the extent of suffering due to aliments). Hope this sparks some discussion on this post, I don't see a reason for those not effected (Those that do not live in South Africa) to contribute their thoughts and I encourage all to join this discussion.

No, it is not ethical. South Africa is a fairly corrupt and dangerous country to live in so this does not come as a surprise.
