+Speed Auto (Sweet Seeds) grow log

So, as I messed up my current grow (look at the link in signature), I had started a backup grow. I started my favorite strain from what I have grown so far.
10 days or so ago plant had pooped up from soil and slowly growing up. It seems to me that seedling is a bit to slow, and I am not sure is it due to old seed (it is 2 years old a did not stored properly) or due to lack of nutrients in the soil. I am cautious to feed her at this point and give her plain eater.
Opinions are accepted, advices are much appreciated!

Looks like a big pot. Seeds started in bigger pots usually are slow out of the gate. To add to this soil goes slower than hydro/coco. Looks fine.

I've grown in 3 gal bags for yrs and switched to 5 gal air pots. Big, big difference in plant size and production. AWLAYS grow in the biggest pot you can.
I can't tell for hair roots, but main root ball riches half deep of the pot.

Plant is 2,5 weeks old. I gave her first light feed. From my experience this strain is quite hungry and can stand a slight overfeed. But I will not risk this grow as this is my last seed of +Speed.
Plant already has 2 nods and showed 3rd, so I started LST. If I play it right she will prize me with 2 to 3 oz of skunky buds in 7 weeks.

Hey! I have one +speed from sweet seeds, it should be with 45-50 days.

Mine is on day 48, but seems like will need at least 2 weeks more. What do you think how log will take?

She needs more time buddy. I'm thinking more like 3 or 4 weeks. Let her finish..:blsmoke:
Yes, I'll let her finish but... This should be on 44-50 days and will going to be 75-80 days... I hope it is worth it, since I put this auto in for the time it took.

It's huge man! On the pack written 7 weeks, but fastest I had (under LED) is 9 weeks, longest - 12 weeks. Depends on phenotype.
I usually wait until she starts to lost leaves like trees in autumn. Buds will fatten a lot compared to what you have now.

Plant is 3,5 weeks old, maybe 4. It reached maturity and will start to flower in next 2 weeks. I am spreading branches to keep her low and generate more colas.
I keep feeding her carefully increasing amount of nutrients slowly every watering.

Is it possible to do lst in autos? I have never planted autos, only feminized, and they told me that with autos you should not stress the plant. is it recommended to do lst? and apical pruning?

If I can the next time I will, since my closet is 60 * 60 * 140..

I have almost the same growing space. A bit smaller. You can fit 2 plants in there given you have a proper light.

In my experience with LST (low stress training) will give you more or less the same weight of buds, but quality of them will be higher. LST will also keep plant low.
Compare my first grow (previous link) to this: https://www.rollitup.org/t/simultaneous-grow.997624/post-15211553 No LST on first and same training as I am doing now on the second.

They look great with both methods.
I
have always done sog with lollypop, but in larger spaces, this time being small (especially in height) choose to put two GG4 and one + speed auto and try scrog.

Of light I have 4 cob vero 29 in total 300w

SCROG should work fine. With +Speed (due to its short life cycle) I prefer to start LST as soon as possible: usually when plant shows a third nod.

I have one Migro 100 COB LED (107 Watt from the wall). With 4 COB you have a better light distribution over the canopy. And more light. Hence, better crop.

I tried to grow auto and photo period at the same time (link from previous post). If I do it again, to save time, I will grow auto until it will be around 3-4 weeks to harvest and then start photo to switch on 12/12 after harvesting auto.

LST is definitely the way to go. I do it on nearly all of mine and you can nearly double your output, I start LST after the plant reaches her 5th node. i tie every branch as far down as I can. broke a few tops and limbs over the years but you'd be suprised to see how many just heal at the break and keep growing. The idea behind LST is to make every branch think its the main shoot. Works like a dream. :blsmoke:

Plant is 4,5 weeks old or so. She started to stretch. In next week and a half plant will stretch to it's final size.
You can see 7 tops forming.
Judging by time it took for plant to get to stretching it is a sativa dominant pheno. A long way to go to harvest.
