Op the pepperjack haze you showed at the start is nice and peppery im sure you will like it also if peppers your thing always look for caryophyllene dominant strains thats the terp mostly responsible for that smell/taste profile

.

Kali Mist by Serious Seeds has a beautiful soft spice taste. Wonderfull.

Don't know the THC content.

.
I like their AK47 and White Russian, but was disappointed with Kali Mist. Currently having problems with my AK47 mother flowering under 18/6 light. Hopefully her clones will be ok. Everyone I smoked AK47 with loved it said it was the best. Thinking about giving Kali Mist another try. I’ve seen your post about your HLG led light. I’m thinking about switching to LED. I’ve always used Ushio HPS with good results. I’m new to LED and see people says that they need more nutrients under LED. I’m looking at the HLG tomahawk 650 and the one you’ve got. See so much stuff about the LED lights. Do you believe the weed is more potent under LED?

I haven't done any testing but yes, I think LED bud is more potent than HPS. HPS is hot in the middle of the tent but fades at the outside of the grow. My Scorpion Diablo is intense right to the edges of the tent.

Grew some Apollo 13 BX from TGA years ago and it smelled amazing. Like a steak with black pepper cream sauce with a bit of cheetos mixed in, never experienced anything quite like it even years later.

Id say it depends many think hps/cmh grown bud is more potent id say if its a good led id say it be comparable/better maybe to hps grown if its not got the right spectrum then i would say its less theres a whole thread on icmag about it cos theres quite a few people who find that theres a shorter lived high with led grown vs hps grown bud i think they can both be good done right personally i just think its an area that needs more research for sure

some time ago i bought several strange strains from herbies and one of them was Spicy White devil by Samsara seeds. Turned out it's not my type. Thc was around 22 btw
Agreed. Pepper Jack Haze ended up being trash genetics, so didn't even bother with it ... plant practically fell apart.

The only strain sort of peppery I'm currently running is Gorilla Cookies (pepper, vanilla, nut) (clear up high). Most everything else is fruity: Grape Cobbler, Cherry Pound Cake, Apples 'N Oranges (clear down high, not sure about Apples 'N Oranges).

In 4 years, I've reduced 30+ strains to the 4 above -- a lot of early attempts were with inferior genetics -- found out there's a learning curve for everything, including buying seeds. I'm waiting for Julien Ricco at Botafarm California to release his second series, so I can buy four 5-packs -- two strains from each series. From the first series, (1) RS11 s1 and (2) Gorgeous Braelin (RS11 x Apple Tartz); and from the second series, (1) Reverse Cowgirl (Black Ice (Mac1 x Oreoz) x Black Runtz) and (2) Malibu Cosmic (Black Ice x Gin and Juice). That should keep me satisfied awhile. Rotation will be at most 4 strains at a time, because I'll be scrogging 1 strain per each 4x6 flood tray in a perpetual setup.
