Doesn't that model have uv/ir diodes built in?
No there's none, only 3,000k & 5,000k whites and 660nm rich red. The SE7000 has no UV or IR leds which sucks, because their SE3000/SE5000 has them. But the interesting thing is their site is showing those model dont have the UV/IR now either. It seems they are removing them from all their lights to cut costs, then want to sell you the UV/IR bar separately... so i bought it from their competitor.

I got that 5000 with the uv/ir diodes. Makes me wonder how well they really work.

Yes, according to their spectrum graphs they look virtually identical between the SE5000 and SE7000. So this means either their graphs are not accurate or the amount of UV/IR in their fixtures make almost no difference. The dedicated Mars UV/IR strips put out a lot, you definitely need eye protection to save your eyes i got the Method 7 Cultivator FX LED glasses. Here's IR/UV bars with main light off.

It's interesting it's 40w on your website, but on your Ebay Australia store it's only listed as 30w https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/185631777353?

That's the reason i went with the Mars light it was listed as 40w and was the same price, but looking more closely it seems to be the same light just re-branded?

If you were after any suggestions, the use of UV and IR is recommended at different times and duration's as below. However there's only a single 120/240v plug that controls both UV and IR. This makes it impossible to use a timer to turn the UV or IR on and off independently. So unless you remember to turn it off and on every day at the correct times, you can only use it for UV or IR on a timer and not both.
