How can I rid my cuttings of spider mites? My mother was covered so I cut a branch off and took to another place new propagator etc and put them in jiffies usual clonex gel etc, I’ve used dr schimmel to spray my cuttings like and I can’t see any so far but still haven’t rooted yet it’s been 9 days a believe so any day now I’m hoping for roots so I can strengthen them and then re-treat them. Any advice on how to get rid of them if they do come back? My dr schimmel was for 6 litres of water aswell so I diluted to 10 litres ..

Citric acid works really well as far as organic solutions or you can just go with a 3 in one product since they're in veg and nuke em.

I make a half strength mix of Monterey Spinosad, Azamax, and Southern AG Garden Friendly Fungicide with 1/2 tsp per gallon dawn dish soap. I fully submerge the cutting in the mix and agitate for a few seconds. Remove cuttings and gently shake off excess. Apply rooting hormone and stab in premoistened rockwool. Wait to put under light until treatment applied to cutting has fully dried (around 30 minutes depending on ambient temp/humidity). After dry, cover with dome and put under clone light.

Good luck! Peace ✌

what do you mean bro a 3in1 solution ? Cheers man
Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's Safer brand 3 in 1 product. It treats mites, insects and mildew with fatty potassium acids and sulphur. It stinks like sulphur so don't ever spray it on buds, it will ruin them, ask me how I know. The citric acid works great, is organic and doesn't leave a nasty smell or white residue. I really liked using it as it fried the adults and dried out all the eggs in less than 8 hours. You'd have to do some Google hunting for the ratio as I haven't had to use it in a while thankfully and lost my notes when my laptop crashed. The 3 in 1 however will knock out any PM or other bugs you think might be an issue so you know you're starting fresh.

When i have used Citric acid for Thrips, i used 3 tablespoon/liter. If i had clones with bugs, i would not spray them. being small plants, just dunk them to ensure full coverage. only down side to citric acid was some fried pistils, i used it maybe halfway through flower

The browned pistils we're an issue but once you're in flower it's probably the only choice you have to spray on the actual buds. Other than the commercial products that are probably using it in the mix as well. I freaking hate those little bastards.

Go with the sns trust me. And you gotta be preventative if your not growing in the cleanest of environments. If your outside or in a unfinished basement you better do preventative pest treatment. Sns is good for that to, not only kill them bit make them wanna stay away and it's organic. Just don't use to late in flower
