Thanks for the replies...used Sporeworks for couple syringes of PE...Premium Spores was who I always used before but this time when I went to complete my order seems like there was a bit of a run around using debit card to pay...Sporeworks made it simple...I like em

I always used TheHawksEye back in the day. Just went to check them out, and see they're now using a new website: mushrooms.com

I havent bought from the new website (as i stopped growing shrooms), but if its the same group that ran THE, then you'll do well with em. Grew out Penis Envy, Golden Teachers, and B Plus with great success

I ordered from FreeSpores back on the 6th. My account never updated and still says “PayPal payment requested”. They also don’t return my emails. I think they are closed or something, but they really should have shut down orders if they can’t fulfill them. Gonna look at Sporeworks I guess.

12hr Dunk...perlite n water in the bottom...cakes on foil...99% humidity 75-77 degrees
A couple of questions if you don't mind... first, what temperature and humidity do you have in the area the grow chamber tub is located in? Second, is it mandatory to do the cold water dunk? I've gotten conflicting information, and would like to hear from people that are indeed actually growing shrooms. I'm noticing many people online making comments on the matter, but I can tell that a lot of them haven't even grown a mushroom before.

The room temp is 70-72ish degrees with a 45-50% humidity...its my grow room...so the tub is in spare closet in grow room...where the plants veg basically...the humidity is kept at 99-100 in the tub with perlite n water in the bottom n the lid kept on... terrarium effect...the temp raise I suppose is from the lights above and the lid being on...idk really it just worked out...ha...last round of shrooms I grew it was summer so keeping temps up wasn't an issue...and for the dunk idk really if necessary or not...the way I learned called for the dunk so I just always dunk

You want to dunk it because it rehydrates the substrate. And rolling it after the dunk gives it an xtra layer for moisture retention. Also. doing a dunk and roll between flushes will give you a better yield of shrooms. I use room temp water to dunk the cakes in, not cold. Not sure that matters much.

I plan on going from 27C pucks to 27C pinning/grow area.

I want to know what benefits dunking does, as opposed to doesn't.
