Stalks one at a time are drooping over

I had two stalks do this yesterday and another one today. The leaves just start drooping over which spreads down the whole stalk. I just sprayed with Growsafe but I would like some opinions on what I am dealing with here. It looks like insect damage but there is no sign of infestation anywhere on the plant. Of course I'm not sure what I am looking for.

It is correctly watered, nutrients are not a problem. It is otherwise a very healthy plant. Super Skunk in case you are wondering.

I will say riu can be very informational. I wouldn’t have known about this if it wasn’t for this forum

Honestly not sure. I did read on riu someone kills the worm with a needle and just seals up the hole but am sure that branch is a goner so why not cut it off. But not sure. They were talking about it in the main stem though

I cut the stem off and sprayed the plant with Jacks dead bug which kills borers. Time will tell. Thanks all for the advice

did you attempt to find the work. Should be pretty easy. I would try to find the hole cause it may not be where you think it is and can still do more damage from what I read

I have occasionally had success with finding the hole and finding the worm and squeezing the stem around it and killing the worm. Oftentimes the affected part will keep growing. If the stalk does wilt and die, I will remove it. I get a lot of damage of all kinds on my outdoor plants, just how it is here, regardless of how much you spray and manage the plants.

I did not find it but will look again on the plant tomorrow. It wasn't on the stalk that was cut off

SOLVED: Looks like Jacks and Growsafe did the job. No more damage. I looked but couldn't find the hole. But the insecticide did.
