I'm not at home right now, and I don't know if the top of my head, but the color indicator, the needle is in the yellow. What's your pressure on the gauge on the unit?
As someone who has spent many cold winters frowning at a very weak flow trickling into my res, this is a good idea. You would need a chiller to bring the water temp back down though, right? Here’s a tip to cut the waste water down by a lot and increase the output of the ro. get you a housimg that allows your to mix hot water into the cold line and bring the water temp up to 75 degrees. Doing that the membranes will work correctly and won’t reject as much water.
Damn, that's also a good idea. I recently switched to tap water, but my RO's waste line was running into my washer's drain pipe. I could have easily ran it into the washer.Sometimes I'll put my drain line in my washing machine then do a load of laundry with it. Or in the summer I'll run it outside into the ornamental flower garden
I used one of those in Cali 10 years ago. Fucking thing was great but expensive. I think with the permeate pump, mine will produce a lot less waste water.Damn, that's also a good idea. As far is a wastewater is considered, my water bill was dramatically slashed when I switched over to this unit. It's expensive and so are the filters, but I was amazed by how little it sloughed off.
No it’ll just be 75 degrees and the storage tank if you use one will get it to room temp.As someone who has spent many cold winters frowning at a very weak flow trickling into my res, this is a good idea. You would need a chiller to bring the water temp back down though, right?
The only filter you should have to change is the carbon block the sediment filter is washable and ro membranes last About 3-5 years. As for using the waste water in any household appliance is a bad idea. Remember all the hard ass minerals and bull shit is all that waste water is. It’ll destroy appliances fast.Damn, that's also a good idea. I recently switched to tap water, but my RO's waste line was running into my washer's drain pipe.
