I'm an idiot because I don't know the nationality of some troll on a website? You are the idiot for knowing in the first place and caring enough to respond. All of you are. I never left a message for ANY of YOU. GET OVER YOURSELVES! And if he is Canadian, he's a douche. Cheers!
Here. Post your diarrhea here. It may gain some traction.

I think you meant to post this trash in the bullshit/broscience thread yeah?
In the late 1960’s we used to drive a mail through the stock. Believing the plant would try to repair it self ,making it more resinous. This was done with 3 weeks left. It did not hurt the growth. I’ve tried it on a few grows but I can’t truly say if it helped. Some guys would bend plants over and step on them for dress b4 harvest

Yeah, like shoving a amazon prime box through the *stalk* would be low stress.

Before i flower i hold a bottle of miracle grow up to them and tell em this is what your getting. Stresses em out so much i harvest them a week later. Of coarse i hang them by the roots so the thc runs into the buds. Duh!
Ummmm. Dude wtf..... you have to pour boiling water on the roots before you hang them or else hanging by the roots for thc drainage won't be nearly as potent..:bigjoint:

Removing mall but the tops and a few fans is common practice and can produce bigger tops. This is not due to stress but less places for the plant to focus growth on. But by not watering he's just shortening the drying time when there finished. A plant cannot produce more material using less water, this is fact across all plant/animal life.

A person once told my son that he would grow bigger buds if he did 6/12. He swore by it. We all know you cut your light and you cut production.

Just because they grow doesn't mean they know wtf there doing. Some people just get lucky or talk a lot of shit and never have there own smoke
The tried and true Three-a-Light method begs the differ.
So essentially what you are saying is you are happy to put a whole seasons worth of work into your plants and then screw it up with a bunch of unproven bullshit.

Seems legit.
Looking at the trichromes they are cloudy with some amber, so nothing terrible will happen in a few days, I prefer to harvest early for more potency vs yield. They're 7fters, topped. 20210912_182325.jpg

If you think about it, butchering the plant for a couple days while blasting it with full sun and starving it of thirst should make it want to survive and give everything to make more tricky trichs to try and catch pollen, to stay alive, that's its only choice..

If the fan leaves are gone then the full sun goes to the buds, there's only 2 days, and the full sun will make the plant coat itself to block the rays.

Speaking of stressing out the plant before harvest, I am experimenting with no water to let them slowly die then once they start wilting, I flipped the lights to dark. My thinking behind this is not only will it stress them out due to lack of water it will also slow down the dry/cure which is a good thing.

Currently im on day 9 of no lights & day 11 for no water. I’ve had my tent at 70F & 55rH. Now, I’m about to chop them down and hang them in my dry room at 60F/60rH. So far I’m liking the result

Interested to hear if anyone else has tried this out & their experience/outcome.

@madvillian420 care to share your insight? Have you tried this and it not worked? Cuz it definitely seems to be working. This is a clone that I have run many times already so I have good knowledge on what to expect/what I want, and I will be able to decisively tell if there are any major differences in the final product. If you don’t ever experiment, you’ll be stuck in the same spot… what I am liking about this method is I can harvest at my own pace. Cut a brach here, cut a brach there & bring into my controlled dry room at my own pace (tent has a bit higher temps then I would prefer, so I just started cutting branches a bit early to get them in that controlled room with a perfect cure environment. I have a busy schedule & this takes a bit of pressure/stress off my life which is a great thing.

Interested to know if I somehow missed something, so please speak up & correct me / share your experience with this method so I can continue learning & becoming a better grower with this amazing plant.

Be nice if both the recent posters would post real quality pictures of the plants. How long has the lemon Haze been in flower? @Dreminen169 First time doing the long goodnight before harvest? A friend swears by a long dark period with a molasses feeding right before doing this. He says 48 hours or longer is great as long as the humidity is managed. Good luck, hope you post some close ups of the buds!

This is it so far, the rest is going in dry room tonight. Trichomes look good to me and unharmed so far. She’s giving off the best smells right now, sweet cherry vanilla with a hint of gas is the best way I can describe it. I beat mine up pretty bad. Bend down the stems to the point the break but don't tear. You get a massive branch filled with bids. Strengthens the trunk too. This is at the start of flowering. I turn them once a day and that further slaps them around.

One time I tried to do the slit in the trunk just above the base. It was a PITA but seemed to really make for a strong plant as the trunk gets massive.OK2021-1 no1 2.jpg
